Hey Gang!
I have updated our Forum Software (www.FusionBB.com) to the latest version tonight.
This adds a variety of new features including...
- A user profile page that is more social networking like (with a wall and a blog for each user)
- You will notice a "User Options" menu next to each post, below a user's name
- Ability to share topics on Social Networking sites
Please use this thread to report any issues.
There are also some new features, like the user blogs, user page etc... that I don't have working just yet. I'm working on getting everything operational. Stuff won't be quite right for a bit, but I'd rather open the site and keep working, so people can read and post, rather than leave it closed longer than necessary. Thanks for your patience.

I've noticed that it is not easy to see the penis details (size? foreskin?) of a guy as it was before. Am I doing something wrong?
This always made it easier for me to "relate" to a guy, knowing he was like (or not like) me in that way.

I hate being quick to judge, and I know how problematic system upgrades can be, but there's far more bad than good here.
Maybe the new user features (social networking stuff etc) will prove to be good but I remain to be convinced.
The negatives however are significant, and all on the user profiles pages:
- Showing IP addresses is an invitation to hackers and an invasion of privacy. Remove them ASAP!
- Likewise with login names - many guys come here to share thoughts and feelings in private, and feel more comfortable by the fact that their Userid and login name are different, to prevent others trying to hack into our private space.
- Like it or not, we're here because of size, and the main stats are important. The main purpose of the site is to be up-front and honest about our manhood, whether small, average or big. Before the upgrade the measurements were top of the page, now they've disappeared entirely!
No other way to say this, but disgraceful!
- Same thing applies to age - when we look at a profile we want to know how old the guy is - that should be as up-front as the size.
Sorry Josh, but this feels like a botched software upgrade job!
This site has been going downhill for the last year or so. It doesn't need technical problems to kill it.
Long live a proper Measurection site!

As I said above, it's all still being worked on. So please be patient. You were probably looking at your profile while it was still being configured.
Again, sorry you missed the memo asking for everyone's patience.  Ultimately only Admin's see IP addresses, although I think you can see your own. Are you still seeing IP addresses?
And just FYI many discussion boards and blogs all show IP addresses, its configurable. We happen to choose not to, but if we wanted to show IP addresses of poster (so people could tell if there were trolls or people posting from multiple IDs) we would. I don't appreciate your "Remove them ASAP" attitude. That was kind of rude.
Again, we appreciate everyone's patience. This website is hella-huge and it's taken a good 12 hours just to let stuff backup and upgrade. There are alot of settings, tweaks and adjustments which just take a bit of time to go through and setup how they were before.

You were probably looking before I'd added our additional profile fields back. All of that stuff should function relatively the same. There will be the option to replace your profile with your blog and userpage. That's not up and running just yet. So for now, when you click a user's name, it should look similar to before.

The Registration IP, Last Login IP, and Login Name are no longer displayed as part of the Public Profile. I believe the ability to display them there is new functionality and by default all three were ON. I've turned all three OFF.

The skin we were using before will be coming back... I just need to add a bunch of additional stylesheet classes to our custom skin. Then it will look exactly the same too. Stay tuned.

I'm only trying to help, but your reply frankly offended me for a moment 
Which is why I've stepped back for an hour and waited to see if my constructive criticism has been implemented.

It's a herculean task that you're doing, and think of my comments as 'beta-test feedback'.

Ok - our custom skins have been updated and you should be seeing the familiar colors again.
If you were using something else, or the larger type version, you'll need to pick it again. Go to "My Measurection"  "Control Panel" "Display Settings" and you'll see the skin in there.

It's hard for the masses to accept change. There are alternate skins available in the Display Prefs if you're looking for a different "look" to the site (colors, etc...).

If you liked the color scheme that was in use immediately after the updated software was installed, it's the skin called "Crisp" that you'll find in the list of skins that Josh referred to above.

hey skwirl I just tried out chu chu ( well tried out them all actually ) - reminded me of Divine and chacha heels anyway too red and black for me so have just gone back to the "amicae " -lots of green my favorite colour -
so a bit of fun playing around with all this
( but not much change for those who dont want it)

I used to call those "board-a-cides" where people make a big stink that they are leaving. And they may for a while. On average though, very few people actually left.
