Glitch while advancing to the next page

I've just begun getting a very odd glitch. When you go to a topic with multiple pages, There's a glitch when you click next to advance to the next page. the page is essentially blank with just the banner at the top. You have to hit reload again for the page to appear, Is this happening to anyone else? This glitch just started today.

P.S. I hope my post made sense. "If the post has multiple pages, and you're on page one, when you click "next" to advance to page two, the page is essentially blank, you have to reload the page to see it."

If you do not verify your email address we are limited in what we can do, often very little.
Remember to check your "junk, spam..." folders as often automated replies are screened.

When putting in a request try to be clear:

At the top right on every page of a topic there are 5 stars for rating a topic, I've included a pic with an arrow to let you know what I'm referring to. My question are, what the heck does that do? And does anybody actually utilize this? In all my years here I don't actually recall ever clicking on it. I did a search in this forum and uncovered no info on this.

If you are registering a new account here and have not received your verification email message, be sure to check beyond your Inbox and your Spam folder/tab. Several email systems are now using AI to detect machine generated email messages. They are putting messages they deem to be machine generated into an Ad or Promo folder or tab. So be sure to look for such a folder/tab.

Yeah you could use the "report a post" method as well, but then it opens up a whole new ordeal that may involve JTT having to come take care of it. He and I have talked yesterday and he wants me to continue to moderate in the absence of Rodenuf.

I have an odd question. If I change my Signature .. that is remove the current one and type in a new one, does that change instantly permeate to all of my old posts, or just new posts made after the change?

Is there a way to set a default so that all posts will always be sorted in the way I want. For instance, generally posts are sorted by "recently updated", I would prefer they always be sorted by "start date". Is there a way to set this?

Hello, I can see when someone has a photo album on their profile. For example, it will say the number of images, but it will be greyed out so I cant click on it.

Odd dating of earliest posts

I guess this is an odd question, but I noticed that about a page and a half of the earliest posts have a date of December 31, 1969 (I have included a screenshot), just curious why. Am I right in guessing that it has something to do with Y2K?

Doesn't anyone know what it means when a member's name appears on your "following" list and there is the word anonymous by their name, also the "following" is grayed out. I literally have never seen that.

1) I've noticed that I frequently get notification at the bottom of the screen in a pop up saying you have a new pm'

But then there nothing in my inbox...

I mentioned this in another thread. If the pm limit is 50, does that mean 50 seperate messages, or message threads from 50 different members?.

Also some pms are getting through?🤔

2) Oh, and I've noticed that some other things are listed in the public feed, apart from posts, threads and reactions... there seems to be things posted on profiles, which can be replied to, also exchanges listed like this:

Like public "private' messages though they can't be accessed?!. How does this work here?. Can you toggle PM exchanges to be part visible in the feed?!

Hello, I wanted to mention that I requested access to the smaller exchange right after signing up, as I qualified for all the requirements by both my profile and size. I emailed RodENuf, but I’ve heard nothing back from him in a week. So, does the site have other administrators who might be able to handle my request? Also, without Rod, is the site completely rudderless and going to die, or do other members have access to control it and shepherd it along?

I sent a couple of questions to the indicated administrative member, but haven’t heard anything yet, so I am hoping somewhere on the site there are Q&A, instructions for use, or tech-support pages, or a tech support person to contact. If those do not exist, anyone who would be willing to respond to one or more of the following would be helpful and very much appreciated:

1. I am having trouble figuring out how to easily maneuver back-and-forth between notifications and the forum post they are referring to, the same with Mail I have received.

2. When I mess up a post somehow that I didn’t edit as thoroughly as I should have, is there a way to edit if I find a mistake days later? Same question for topic titles. While using talk to text, I said “four year college,” and it came out as “for your college.” I’m sure being less wordy on my part would help.

I will add more as I find or remember them. Thanks everyone.

Getting access to my old posts

Hi everybody!

I'm trying to find my posts (newer and older) but so far I didn't succeed

If I'm not wrong, not that long ago you could simply access to them by clicking on the number of posts made/ replied by you that is shown on each user's profile (in my case it's 92)

It's no longer that way

One of the Admins (Rodenuf) last year explained what I should be doing to retrieve them (see screenshot) but when I tried that method (yesterday) I only found my 3 latter posts (the one created by me and the others where I made a reply)

but for most of it I just found the Activity that the rest of the users on this Website is doing

I'm trying to get my older posts back (the ones written about 10 years ago) but using the method suggested by Rodenuf didn't take me anywhere

I can't recall the exact words that I wrote on the Titles of each Thread I've created, nor the ones used on my replies in someone else's threads

Could anybody please help me finding them again?
