i just started to wear thongs, and i find them quite comfortable.. they give good support, and they feel kind of sexy between my ass.. i also wear those euro boxer briefs, i find those real sexy and i like the tightness around my body.. does anyone else wear thongs? or what kind of underwear do you like to wear?

Okay... this may be considred weird but I always wear thongs and have been doing so for a decade.

 

One hot summer I felt so uncomforable with my underwear sticking to me so I slippd on a thong my wife had got me for "special" ocassions. It felt very cool as the air was able to flow through my shorts and ventilate! I have been wearing them ever since and find going back to full coverage underwear to be uncomfortable.

 

I found the most comfortabe thongs in the cotton "contour thong" offered by UnderGear

Do either of you go to the gym or have other occasion to change in front of other guys? Just wondering what the response has been. I think I've only seen one guy in our gym with a thong. TOns of guys who freeball, however.

The thong itself has an interesting history. Originally, geestring referred to a garment worn by men from plains tribes. Basically it consisted of a belt worn between the hips and waist, just above where the pubic hair ends. A buckskin thong then goes over the belt, between the legs, and over the belt again; you should use enough material that (barring wind) it looks like you're wearing just two flaps. Just a geestring and mocassins was normal summer attire for men; winter meant adding leggings, a shirt, and a blanket.

 

Anyway, eventually, more seedy parts of American society adopted the garment for women. But, to save money (and tittilate men more), they got rid of the flaps. This had its own innate disadvantage, though. If you're a male, this new g-string was no longer adjustable, and thus requires some very personal measures to make sure erections could still be comfortable.

I used to be a member of a gym andwhen it cae to changing I was very careful to not let anyone se I wore thongs because I was pretty sure it would be seen as weird. I made sure I had a long enough shirt so I could slip my pants off and shorts on without exposing my underwear... or package for that matter. I trimmed and shaved and tought THAT would be too out of the ordinary too!

hmmmm I always thought the belt and towel was a loincloth as worn by the plains indians and Tarzan. a simple way of covering the genitals with simple technology.

thong as in a sandle with a single post between 2 toes, thong a single band going between 2 cheeks and flairing at the top into a waist band similar in shape to the sandle, the post flaring into to over the foot bands..

I remember way back in high school, when eeveryone wore white briefs only. I had dozens of 'coloured' and 'patterned' low risers but always wore white on days of PE. oops one day I forgot and wore my floral print briefs. Changed in PE and not a word said, next class 1/2 the class was in colored or patterned underwear. It just took one person to be 1st, we all had them in our drawers at home.

Actually, it's the first use of geestring, in 1878: "Around each boy's waist is the tight 'geestring,' from which a single strip of cloth runs between the limbs from front to back." (Slight note: The term "boy" is probably misleading here. Prior to puberty, most boys on the plains went naked except for the winter months. I've found this use of the terms "boy" and "girl" in various Victorian works, which tend to think of "boy" and "girl" as "anyone under 30".)

I got a thong off my aunty for my 18th birthday (don't know what she was thinking hehe) & I kinda like them, doesn't show much in the pouch but then thats not a problem either

 

I got bought a kids size groin guard (with plastic cup) last xmas from a uni mate who walked in on me asleep in the bath (we were sharing a house) & thought it's be a funny xmas present. I wear that & it fits fine too, though now I have to put my package in where the plastic cup used to be (it got put in the dryer & melted the plastic cup out of shape) but it all fits in nicely, so I guess my friend was right by telling the other 2 lads in the house that I was small.

 

I like thongs, & tanga briefs & jockstraps (used to play a lot of sports) & groin guards so yeah they're cool

I stopped wearing underwear in my late teens. I can't stand to wear anything now. On the rare times I feel I need to I HATE it. Anything round my arse gets in the crack and starts to itch and anything round my balls makes them feel like they're being shrink wrapped! Camando for me except for when at work. I always hated wearing underwear. But for work I wear the traditional white briefs, boxer briefs and some traditional boxers. Depending on my mood. ...

 

But tighty whities get my vote for most sexy on guys.

 

 

I never found thongs sexy or appealing on men. Now on women...thats another story...schwing!

I know other people like thongs, but they are a total “no way” for me. Why? I do not like my butt hanging out, but more importantly, it is really disgusting to me to have anything in my butt cleavage. Way too unsanitary for me, and I don’t think I could stand anything rubbing me in there. Not to mention any possible smell being left on the string, or whatever you call it.

In PE we had to wear jocks, sometimes with cups, but no underwear. I don’t know why that was the rule, but we were told that if a coach saw your underwear below your PE shorts, you were busted.

My dad wore Jockey brand underwear because, at the time, those were the only ones with a pouch, and he refused to wear boxers. When I was old enough to wear them, my mom bought the same brand for me, irregardless of the fact I never needed the pouch. However, I did find that when I wanted to stick my hand down my pants to play, or just had an erection, the pouch offered extra room so I did not feel squished. When microfiber arrived on the scene, I switched to boxer briefs with a pouch for the same reasons. I enjoy microfiber because of the breathability/less sweat.

I have been wearing female thong underwear for nearly two decades now. I started out hiding them from my wife. I had a couple pair hidden in my room and would wear them to work during the day. At the end of the day I would take them off, wash them and hang them in my room where they couldn't be seen. I would then take a pair of regular underwear, crumple them up and put them in the dirty clothing hamper for wash so my wife would think I was wearing them.

One day I got tired of hiding them and put a pair of thong panties in the hamper for wash. Obvious I got drilled about what they were doing in there and where they came from. I explained that I got tired of wearing men's underwear with all that fabric and that they were boring and that men should have the same underwear options as women. I also explained they were a lot less expensive as men's. I also showed her where several men wrote reviews on female thong underwear on the Jockey web site saying the same things as I did and asking Jokey to label them as unisex. She accepted my explanation and since they were undergarments that nobody else could see me wearing she didn't mind. Little by little all the men's underwear in my drawer got replaced by over a hundred different style female thongs of different fabrics and colors. The funny part is my wife still wears underwear that I kid her about as being her grandmother's.

As far as the strap over my anus getting dirty we have a bidet toilet at home and I carry wet wipes with me when away from home so I am always clean. I prefer that rather than smearing everything while wiping dry regardless of the underwear.

I know I wear pouch underwear, even though I don’t need it because I like room there for my hand and my erection. I must ask, don’t female thongs just squish everything? I have never seen a photo or video of that, but the picture in my mind is that of being uncomfortably squashed and possibly pinched.
 

Bidets are amazing, but if you pass gas during the day while wearing a thong, as everyone does, you’ll be (I am now going to be taking poetic license with a saying kids oft repeat), “You may be cutting the cheese, but the string will be licking the knife”. Science has proven that every time you pass gas, tiny poop particles are expelled, and then, unless your butt cleavage is an open book, those particles would stay inside the crack and not get on regular underwear, so the string has no chance of staying clean.

However, if they make you feel good, why not wear them? Another question, which of you wearing women’s underwear feels it is feminizing them? If so, is that a turn on for you? I’m aware there are biological men who wear all sorts of women’s clothing, and there are others who only wear bras, panties, and/or stockings, but if you are wearing female underwear underneath your men’s clothing, beyond comfort, what is the point?
