I mean, I saw that mine was bigger than other boys my age, but I sort of assumed that I was just further along in development than they were, and that they'd catch up. Then when I noticed being larger than adults, I again assumed that they just happened to be smaller than average, and that mine was normal. I think it's that thing where when you're young, you assume that your own circumstances are the baseline, the norm, and that other people are the different ones. Also, when it came to penis size, my dad is also large, so I thought that was normal adult size (not having seen/noticed many other adult ones) My friend didn't say anything at the time, though later he did comment (when we were changing at school) that mine was "huge", and asked whether I thought i'd grow any more.
