Dai Macedo Wins 2013 Miss Bum Bum Brasil Competition

A 25-year-old model with a 42-inch bottom has been crowned Brazil's new Miss Bum Bum.

 

Dai Macedo, who represented the central state of Goias in the nationwide search for the woman with the most bodacious butt in all of Brazil, was chosen from among 15 finalists by the contest's grand jury in Sao Paolo this week.

 

"It's a lot of work, a lot of devotion," Macedo told Agence France-Presse by way of an interpreter. "I denied myself a lot of things. No nightclubs. No sweets. I went to the gym Saturdays and Sundays."

 

The sacrifice is well worth it. Miss Bum Bum winners become instant celebrities in Brazil, and receive a fortune in endorsements.

 

But the glamor comes with its share of drama. Earlier this year, a columnist for Brazilian newspaper O Dia accused Miss Bum Bum contestants Mari Sousa and Eliana Amaral of bribing judges in attempts to win.

 

In a note published in October, well in advance of the winners being announced, the newspaper reported that Sousa had secured top honors by paying thousands of dollars to judges. It also claimed Amaral paid $32,000 to judges and would come in second.

 

Those ethically suspect predictions did not pan out (although Amaral was awarded third place), but even the future bum-bum queen became embroiled in the scandal at the time. Angered by the accusations, Macedo joined other contestants in lashing out against corruption in Miss Bum Bum via social media, according to News.co.au.

 

Macedo distanced herself from the outburst after winning the competition.

 

"I'm all emotional. I didn't expect to win," Macedo said, according to News.co.au. "All hell broke loose on social media sites but now I can say the contest was real."

Btw, one of the contestants was transgendered. I defy you to figure out which one it was, as "she" was totally stunning.

It's not my normal routine, but following that Senhor Testiculo article, and Bredero's comment about people in Brasil seemingly celebrating anything, I wanted to follow up by showing that there's quite a bit of truth to that particular observation of his.

 

So, take the "Bumbum" contet as a liberal gesture, particularly given that one of the contestants was transgendered and no one objected or found that to be the least bit unusual.

 

Btw, did you check out the video where they demonstrate As Regras (The Rules), and how they scientifically measured each one in a number of critical areas to determine which contestant had the most-perfect ass in all of Brasil?? I found it particularly ironic that tape measures and rulers got quite involved in their judgment calls.

I admit, I am incredibly curious about how a winner is determined. I am wondering whether they look at size, shape, texture, complexion, muscle control or maybe strength (can they bend a metal spoon or crush a tin can?). Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the video you mentioned.

 

As for the transgendered candidate, I couldn't find a good picture with all the 2013 contestants in it. But for what it's worth... I stumbled on a group shot of the 2012 contestants and was left with a pretty strong suspicion that one of those ladies may in fact not always have been a lady.

I know, but that's one of the reasons I always enjoyed living in Brasil, as one never knew what outrageous celebration would occur next. Apparently, within the last few years, this "booty" contest has become quite a big deal in Brasil.

 

In fact, there was a bodacious butt representing each and every state in Brasil, complete with a "talent" portion, which featured more than just having each contestant wriggle their voluptuous behinds for the camera. To me, it's sort of Brasil's answer to the very staid "Miss America" contest, as it contains most of the same features and categories, but done totally their way.

If that's the case, then there have been (at least) two transgendered contestants, one each year.

 

For 2013, it was Miss Bahia, the tall skinny blond (but with a humongous derriere, like everyone else) who threw her hair in her face up near the beginning of the line-up (the contestants were arranged in alphabetical order, according to the name of the state they represented, so she immediately followed the contestants from Acre, Alagoas, and Amazonas).

I have been waiting all day long to reply to this post.

 

..........Well firstly, when I was watching those sexy sexy sexy Brazilian women it brought back so many good memories. My X is a Brazilian we were together for 5 years...and i still do have a lot of love for her. Plus I do have a spacial place in my heart for Brazilian women.

 

I will share a story of when I went to South America to do a project in 2009 - 2011.

 

I carried one of my friends there to work, and the first night he flew in, I carried him to a local strip club and I told him to choose a girl for a lap dance.

 

He chose a woman who was like 40 years old, she was wearing a jeans and had a big butt....similar to the ones in the photos. I told him, not to take her, when she takes her clothes off her butt will hang and sag...he insisted he wanted a lap dance with her. I said ok and signaled the girl to come over.

 

She went to a back room and changed into a sexy outfit, and she instructed the DJ to play 3 selected songs...at the end of the third song she would be naked...dancing and grinding on my partner.

 

So....while she was dancing on him, I gave my partner a glass of strong Scotch and told him "Welcome to South America"

 

When this girl took off her pants, Much to my Surprise her butt remained in the same position as she walked around. Honestly it was like if there were 2 invisible hands holding her bottom up. it was amazing to look at.

 

Which brings me to my next point...Brazilian women are just born sexy....God I feel like book a flight NOW.

Ocelot, is a small cat, look at the size of that skin, it is much larger than most of the ocelots I have ever seen...that skin shrunk a little when it was dried, and when he folded it, it should give you an idea how large the cat was (which-ever species it was)

 

Correction, there are no "Tigers" in south America. but I have seen some very large cats, and paw foot prints in the sand that are larger then the palm of my hand...Ocelots feet do not get that large.

 

I have lived in the jungle too long...and i ended up using local terms by calling a Jaguar or "Deer Tiger" Puma, and all other spices we all call "Puss" or Tiger...
