I attribute it to raging early-teen hormones.  I'm sure I posted it somewhere in these forums before but, when he was 13 and I was 11, he started going nude at home whenever our parents were both out.  He would come to me wherever I was (usually in my room, reading) and invite me to join him - an activity in which I had zero interest!  This was before the dreaded mandatory showers and I was very shy and didn't even like people seeing me in pajamas much less undies or less.

He continued "inviting" until one day when the invitation became an order.  And, given that he could, and had, kicked me around (he was the jock and I was the brain), I knew I had no choice.  So he made me strip for him, had me turn around and then turn back to face him, and then told me from then on, when our parents were out, we would both be naked - and we were.  I really didn't like it at first, but over time, I realized it actually felt kind of nice not having clothes on!  I suppose it eased the trauma, somewhat, of that first mandatory shower in Junior High.

As an adult, I can understand why my Dad would go around naked sometimes - it just feels better - and I had hoped for the same for my kids.

I think my father was "too" anxious to communicate size didn't matter, etc.  Either denial (believed) was his method of coping or he was a conscious liar.  On many issues, he advocated denial rather than self-awareness as a coping strategy.

I grew up in a nude household so I saw my dad (and mom and brother) naked many times, not just there but at the YMCA (where men swam nude) and camping.  Our equipment is surprisingly similar.

@DVD-17 As an aside, I think it's hilarious that anyone would think that dads aren't masturbating and/or taking pics and videos of themselves. We're still guys and that's what guys like to do. Seeing your dad's little stash probably surprised you on a lot of levels, but hopefully not that he had them at all. 

I made the mistake of letting my son use my computer without supervision and didn't really consider that my browser is connected to my account, which has wonderful pics of landscapes, my kids, etc, and some really decent shots of my junk! Well, boy did we have a talk afterwards. 

Too bad I can't cross post this to another thread about someone seeing you accidentally or whatever that one is cause it fits there too.

@DVD-17 Well, when I was about 14, we didn't have computers or digital photography.  So I never saw any pics of my dad naked (although I did see him from time to time but I think I posted about that, already).  Anyway, what I DID find one day when I was at his desk in our den was a nice, glossy, black and white 8 x 10 of a naked woman.  She was posed professionally - not a blatant porn pose (as I would imagine it), but stretched out in profile, back arched a bit.  Taken of her left side, she had her right leg bent (supporting her weight) and her left leg stretched way back behind her (to the viewer's right).  As she was leaning back a bit, her breasts were trusted out as a definite point of interest.  I was fascinated by her breasts and her perky nipples and I could just make out a small portion of her pubic hair.  Quite heady stuff for me, at the time - because it was my mom.

I suspected my dad was gay or bi for a number of reasons, but it would  have been a big shock to see him with another man, esp. back when I tried to suppress any sexual interest in males.

I'm average at 5.25 by 5 nbp but I have a lot of depression related to the thought that environmental factors stunted my penis growth.

I have small hands and feet for my height and a lot of adipose fat and have been told estrogen was elevated even during puberty.

I have heard through a grapevine that my Dad was 7.25.   I have no idea if that was bone pressed or not.  I imagine he was thicker.

I was sized up by my half brother, who never saw me naked, and he guessed my penis size and made fun of me for it, implying he was bigger.

This isn't an SPH story.   There's a lot of skeletons in my family history. 

But most of my issues as a male human stem from the constant belief that genetically I was meant to be bigger, but something in the water or hormones my mom took when pregnant stunted me.

She had had two prior miscarriages and was in her 40s.  I do believe she took progesterone to avoid another miscarriage as was common at the time.

Anyway, women rarely complain unless I make it an issue, but this has really defined my life unfortunately

Oh... my... Well, that must've been an interesting chat afterwards, indeed.  In retrospect, I think seeing that photo of my mom helped me understand that parents are sexual creatures, too.

I was 13 when my father and I had to share a bed one night while we were in the process of moving into our new house. I woke up to use the bathroom, and sometime within the night my father somehow wiggled out of his light drawstring shorts. So all I saw was my fathers hard dick sticking up straight in the air. I think I have mentioned how I compare with my dad in another thread, but to answer the questions in this one:

Yes, I've seen my dad naked hundreds of times - at home he used to walk around naked from bathroom to bedroom and vice versa, doesn't close bedroom door while changing. Also when we used to go to the swimming pool when I was a kid or teen he never used cubicles even if there were any available - used the open communal benches. 

It's always been soft when I've seen him, though has varied a bit in size but that was due to heat (after hot bath) and when he lost weight but was never aroused.

Unlike me, he is cut - I think maybe due to his glans, which is especially big. 

And as you may have guessed, he is completely opposite to me in size stakes - he hangs 5"-6.5" (latterly more like 6"-6.5") and it's thick. Visually there are some similarities with mine but it's a vastly scaled up version!

1. Yes! I have! 

2. In the shower or bathtub/room more often than not and sometimes in the leg of his underwear when it gapped. I used the shower in their on suite as a teen because my room was right across the hall so we saw each other at least once a day in passing and joking around.

@smalldad Thank you for sharing your experiences.  Even your username is both relevant and interesting. Although I'd say your size seems to be average.  Nothing wrong with a size like that. 

 

I think I've commented in this thread already, but I didn't know my dad and do his size is the matter of conjecture and context clues for me. I've come to the conclusion, based on my mother's reaction to my own size among other things, that he was smaller than myself, average more than likely.

My dad wasn’t around long, but I did see his penis.   He was very proud of it I think.   He liked showing it to me.  It was uncut and he liked to show me how the foreskin would cover his head and how he could uncover it.  I mostly have this memory of it happening when my mom was out.   I do recall it getting hard too.  As a little boy sometimes you get hard and he would show me how he pulled his foreskin back until he got hard. It's funny, I responded to this thread last night, and my friend and I both shared stories this morning about relatives reacting to our early blooming sizes when we were younger.  He is much larger than his father, even flaccid,  and the father dosen't get nude around him because of it. his grandfather also commented on it, along with the younger brother, who has a larger dick than a ll of them.

As for me, I shared about my father or lack thereof.  I'll refrain from sharing about father figures, bit I did share with my friend that my mother must have seen my bulge and how I was wearing out underwear when I was on the cusp of puberty,  asked to see it,  and then took me to the doctor not long after to inquire about it.  The doctor assured her nothing was wrong, despite the abnormal growth pattern.

Yep, I've seen my dad's penis quite a few times. Growing up I saw it soft relatively often - mainly changing for swimming or at the beach, sometimes in the shower at home when I was younger, and at urinals.

I saw it hard once that I remember - I was around 15 years old, and he was heading to the bathroom with a morning wood. I remember thinking it looked almost exactly the same size as mine at the time (though it was just a brief glimpse)

I've never seen it "in action"

Like me, dad's uncut, though he has a lot more overhang of foreskin than me (my foreskin is relatively short)

Ever since I was around 15 or so, he and I seemed to have almost identical sizes (flaccid) and very similar looking penises (proportion of length to girth, head size, skin tone etc.) except for his longer foreskin.
However, more recently I've seen his flaccid when changing for sailing trips, and it seems I hang a noticeable amount bigger than him now. I have no way of knowing whether I've outgrown him, or whether I equalled him but he's not hanging as big as he used to.

My dad is cut and I am not but otherwise the "look" is actually quite similar, except that his is a hugely scaled up version of mine!

Also my dad seems to hang (even bigger) now than he did before, so slight difference maybe to your dad there. He's lost a bit of weight and that seems to have enhanced his hang (though it didn't in my case when I have lost weight!)

I used to see my dad naked quite a lot when I was younger since that was common in my household until my mother put a stop to it.  Now that my parents are living together, alone and older, with all the kids outside of the house, my mother is a bit more relaxed about nudity and my father took heed.  Now a days when I see him at home he is lounging around in his underwear and have no problem getting naked before me or my brothers.

In terms of size, my father and I appear to be fairly small when soft.  I would say we are about the same size.  He does appear a bit smaller now with his belly fat, but now that he insists to work out with me, maybe that will change.  I never seen him fully hard.  I must have been 14 or 15 when I caught him watching porn one night when he thought the family was sleeping.  I immediately backed out the room, but did see him with a semi.  It did appear to be significantly larger than his softie, so I am assuming in terms of size we are the same with him a grower like myself.  One thing I always noticed was his large thickness because it is literally a trait that he passed down to my brothers and I and have always made it difficult to buy condoms.

In terms of appearance, I think we look the same except he is uncut and I am cut.  I always found that interesting simply because penis size is more than just genetics.  It is quite rare for anyone to gain 100% of a physical feature from their parents since there are various external factors that affects genes expression.

Maybe there's something to this "family look" thing. My brother also has a very similar looking set of tackle to my dad and me, but he very definitely also got a scaled down version!
