anyone bigger than their dad?

I obviously haven't had an up-close comparison as adults. But for many years after we went swimming we would shower up at the communal shower room at the pool where we would swim. I avoided communal showers like the plague generally but he was pretty old school so we did. Last time we did I was very close to my adult size and at least flaccid his whole package still seemed a tad bigger in all dimensions than mine. I'd been growing for several years but he was still holding me off. He also still has about 1-2 inches on me height-wise, so realistically I suspect he probably still beats me by a tad downstairs as well. Which, based on some of my mom's impromptu comments alluding to their lovemaking, is still a bit concerning.

Mine definstrly is. Mine is at least 3 inches longer than his and a lot wider. Seen him at the urinal and I compare and mine is bigger and bigger but his is smaller and smaller.

Me and my Dad are polar opposites. I have never seen him erect, but plenty of times at home when I was a teenager after a shower or so. I would say he was about 6" soft vs my 1" soft. He never said anything about it.

Yes, I’m definitely bigger than my dad. We have seen each other naked on multiple occasions whether it be the locker room, camping, etc. I’m a couple inches longer & also thicker than him. It is obvious when we’re standing next to each other changing or showering.

@smallthin Remember though, this is where the common optical illusion skews a comparison. You see your dad, for example, head on whilst you look down at your own. His will seem longer and bigger even when it's actually not. Looking down at your own shortens what you see and perspective has a "slimming" and tapering effect. 

Next time ask your dad to stand at your side in front of a mirror then make your judgement. He might think you're weird or even give you a slap, but hey everything comes at a cost!

@Triasco9.5 I can tell you from personal experience the conversation about our penis size was awkward at first but it was easier given the fact my dad was always pretty open & honest. He taught me not to be shy & was comfortable being nude around others. He was taken back a bit to see that I passed him up but he had a good attitude about it. I definitely think it’s more awkward in cases like ours where the son is bigger. I think that can be a tough one for the father’s. I’d be interested to hear a father’s perspective.

@Bigforsmall46 I have no idea what my son's erect size is, but I do know through my own eyes that his flaccid size by far exceeds mine. He could simply be a show'er for all I know but he has what I'd describe as a very large flaccid size and it's not far off my erect size in both length and thickness.

I probably first noticed that when he was around 15 after he exited the shower with no towel. I guess at first there was envy, definitely shock, but then once I'd gotten used to the fact I felt pride and was happy for him, just knowing he wouldn't have the same self consciousness I felt from my flaccid size. 

One thing did change though, I wasn't as blasé about being seen naked in his presence! I don't hide away but the days of showering with the bathroom door open came to an abrupt end!

@Red Scott Thank you for sharing, Scott.  Can I ask why you decided to limit that chance of being seen nude? I've always been curious, had my dad actually been around, if my endowment would have somehow affected our relationship.  I believe from what I've gathered from my mother that he's average in penis size, but she also tells me often that he and I are very similar in personality and disposition.

@Red Scott I think my son is pretty big flaccid also.  I have seen his dick while he was being examined by a doctor.  He was just starting puberty then and is probably about done by now.  He is as tall as I am and weighs more than I do.  I was a little more casual about both him and my older daughter seeing me naked before he hit puberty, but now I try to cover up when they are both around.

I think my dad was small or average like me.  I only remember seeing him naked one time while we're were in the shower together.  He would frequently be wearing only tighty tighty whiteys during the summer and his bulge was not big, but could have been average.  He has been dead for many years and I really miss him.

@Triasco9.5 To be brutally honest, it's all about that "alpha male" status, it's like I feel if he were to see how much larger he is it may undermine that status in his eyes! He doesn't have the very muscular frame that I have so that's my only "trump card" so to speak!

After reading some other posts about mother's abusing drugs while pregnant, I wonder if I helped give and extra dose of testosterone to my wife everytime we had sex and that contributed to my son's large penis.  We had unprotected sex a lot once she was pregnant because we had been using condoms prior to her pregnancy and it felt good to go without a raincoat. Maybe it also kept her estrogen levels low so my son had extra testosterone and lower estrogen which would really bring out the male characteristics.

@toadfish327 I can quickly put that theory to bed! The only hormone present (of any notable quantity) in semen is prostaglandin. You may recognise that name, this hormone causes instant spasms, contractions and dilations within several body tissue types. This hormone is exactly the reason why the penis suddenly stiffens beyond your normal erection hardness when you ejaculate and it helps to force out semen through urethral contractions. 

Prostaglandin can also trigger contractions in a woman who's pregnancy is full term, this happens when the semen contacts the neck of the cervix. Yes that's true! Many women will relate to this as many report contractions commencing after sex!

If it doesn't cause an erection there's a major health problem within the sex organ's mechanics!

I've experienced the injection of prostaglandin into the penis (it barely hurts believe it or not, the needle is tiny!) and all I'll say is it should be available to buy at the supermarket! The resulting erection was very impressive in comparison to normal and very, very pleasant! 

But there's definitely no amount of testosterone contained in semen that could make any changes in overall levels.
