I don't think it's feminine or prepubescent either. Many more men actively manscape and I rarely see an unmanaged bush these days.

Although I would say I rarely see another penis in the gym changing rooms these days. Most of my observations are based on nudist clubs where I see a great number.

I’m completely smooth all over. I’m not very hairy anyway, I’m more like a woman, no torso hair at all, only armpit, pubic and leg hair, all shaved smooth.

When I first got my pubes I was beyond thrilled ( I was also an early bloomer) and had them before my friends, which was a great thing to brag about.  I have quite a substantial bush and have never once landscaped it. It definitely overshadows my smallish cock (especially small when soft). If you’d like to see a pic of my bush let know and I’ll share via PM

I think I’ve said this before, but here I go again. For years, I have trimmed my pubic hairs and I enjoy the look and the feel. I shaved once, but it requires too much maintenance. Wifey had her pubic area lasered 10 years ago, except for a landing strip and her pussy is magnificent.

Like many my age (69), I grew up in an era before trimming and/or shaving was a “thing”. The couple of girls I saw naked in high school, plus all the women I fucked in college, sported full bushes. And I never saw a trimmed dick in any shower in college or at the gym before 2000. But, when I re-entered the dating world after my divorce, I realized that not only porn stars, but all the women I dated, were hairless down below. Some might have landing strips, but I dated no full bushes (not by design, but waxing had evidently become commonplace). These women were, for the most part, in their forties, during the period 2005-2010.

Same thing.
Shaved once 20 years ago just try it.  Then decided to try it again 10 years ago, been shaving ever since.

I’ve been completely shaved for as long as I can remember now. I much prefer how it feels and looks it’s just a personal preference. I did try using a cream veet but left it on too long once and it burnt and was rather painful so went back to shaving. I would love to try waxing but cannot find anywhere local that would do it. I also prefer to be hairless all over the rest of my body. I just ordered a new cream to try which is supposed to be with more natural ingredients so will see if that works

My suggestion would be to look into permanent hair removal and be done with it. Aside from eliminating the fuss and work with temporary removal methods there is no temporary removal method that even comes close to the same feeling of smoothness and sensitivity of having the hair follicles gone. I know I hated the smell of chemical hair removers and waxing was too painful so prior to permanent removal I used to pluck my pubic hairs out one at a time. After removing my pubic hair permanently it felt so good I continued on and removed all my body hair from my neck down and I never looked back.

I seriously thought that a couple years after removing my body hair permanently that it would just become the new norm. But it hasn't. Even decades later every time my hairless skin is touched it still feels as incredible as the first day.
