I was active in sports most of my life: football in high school and college, wrestling in high school, and MMA since a little kid (only stopped after one too many concussions and orders from my wife). I also served in the Navy. Open showers in high school, college and the Navy, and 50-50 in MMA. As such, I have been naked before many of my friends.

I'm 6'3", 195 lbs (230+ in college football), well-built, but hung like a chipmunk (<4" x <4" hard, 1.5" x 3" soft, nearly buried in my pubes). I'm almost always the smallest in the group. There were two notable exceptions in high school:

(1) Chris, very-good-looking, blond surfer type in the class below mine. Virginia, his girlfriend, who could be seen walking hand-in-hand with him across campus in his letterman's jacket, was the cutest girl in school. His dick looked even a little smaller than mine because of its slimness and his sparse light-blond pubic hair. I had a juvenile homoerotic crush on him; I'd go to the local Safeway just to see him bagging groceries and say "Hi."* 

(2) John M, built like a Greek statue; his short, slender phallus stuck straight out like on the statues (but circumcised). Girls drooled over him. He was a natural leader. He was president of the student council (I was president of the student body).**

I was very self-conscious about my size, although I never let on; acted like I was hung like a horse. To do so would paint a bullseye on your crotch, inviting teasing. For the most part, I seldom got teased, and whatever I did receive was mostly in fun and good-humored, and often the result of my own self-deprecating jokes about my size. For instance, when asked in the showers how he got so big, the guy with the biggest cock in school joked, "Dunno, guess I ate my Wheaties." I exaggeratedly looked down at my little nub and moaned, "Damn!  WHEATIES!!?? Everyone broke out laughing. 

I belonged to an informal group or club of the popular "in" jocks; we'd hang out together all the time, heading across campus in a group, often taking over adjoining tables for ourselves in the lunchroom or outside the snack shack. (A buncha elitist assholes! LOL) We'd often go over to one of the guy's house after school and drink beers and smoke weed (like Bill Clinton, I didn't inhale). Every once in awhile we put on porn and had a circle jerk. There'd sometimes be comments about the various sizes. Of particular interest were Bill B's, the biggest (a little over 7")*** and mine (visually 3.5"-3.75", i.e., NBPEL). The guys once made us stand up an compare sie-by-side. But nothing intentionally mean or cruel or cruel. What was interesting was that most the guys weren't that big -- mostly 5" to 6", maybe a few lower 6"; very few were that big. Bill's 7" or so was easily the biggest. However, there were a few guys who looked pretty big because of their thickness. One was Lester F, my center -- short but very thick. 

I've often wondered why I never got teased that much. For instance, I once chatted with a former football player from a big southeastern university who had a small dick like mine. He claimed he was teased constantly in the showers and locker room. He was even nicknamed "Little Dick". Why didn't I receive the same treatment? I've often felt it was due to a combination of my confident "I-don't-give-a-shit" attitude and that I was pretty popular and well-liked. I don't think people harass someone they like or respect. But maybe it's a little of "what goes around, comes around." I tended to stick up for those getting picked upon. There was a girl in grammar school  who matured very early, was really tall with big breasts and big lips. She was obviously self-conscious and tried to stoop over as much as possible. Her mother put her hair up in old-fashioned tight curls or buns and made her wear really old-fashioned dresses. They called her Susan the Turtle because her last name rhymed with turtle. One day they were really teasing her on the playground. I walked over and told them to cut it out. After that, the teasing toned down a lot (though not completely). Maybe there is karma in the world. 

 

* Chris died a few years after graduation in Irag or Afghanistan.

Several of them just asked if I had "gown any" and Mark said, "not a bit" and there was some laughter.  It was strange how much "mentally" I sort of reverted to who I was back then.  Well my size was a big deal in high school.  I got teased a lot, got called "PeeWee" and  that kind of thing so its not likely they would have forgotten.

I think you are naïve about people's motives, too.   Being naïve can be more pleasant than see people "as they are":  cruel.  Good defense mechanism.

The purpose of comparing dicks is to humiliate.  You just didn't react that way because of high self-esteem in so many other areas.

I got teased until I learned how to fight.  One punch resolved a lot of it.

back in the days, in my early 20's, I had two friends. we were like best friends, always together.
We were in holliday in the south of france and some friends invited us for a pool party.

I've always been the smallest of my group of friends, I've never seen their dick hard but I've seen them naked several times in the locker room at the school after basketball team games I participated.

All were at least 4in while soft, with some easily reaching 6in.

When I was in my late preteens and early teens I was sexually involved with three different boys for varying periods of time. One friend was my age. I did things for him the most and for the longest period of time. The other two boys were a bit older than I was. I was by far the smallest among them. It was quite noticeable in fact.
