I can certainly identify with this, I'm usually small when flaccid and tend to shrivel no matter the temperature. Agreed.  I was fortunate to see many of my classmates and teammates in the open shower in school and there was many of us average or less.  Not too many big ones.  My gym I usually see the big ones. If you have a chance go to a Korean spa where nudity is required in the wet area.  You will see what normal is. Many small sizes both Asian and many of us white males.
