Recalling High School Showers

Just thinking back to high school and what I actually recall (going back 52-57 yrs.)

As small or smaller soft (after PE) as me.

Playing rugby at school we always had to shower after games. This is what I can refall

I have vivid memories of the shower and locker room before and after phys ed class.   The guys that stuck out in my mind were the lean guys with big long soft dicks.

These are the guys I remember the most (28-30 years ago):

Smaller guys:

Fernando: I was impressed the first time I saw him. He had almost no shaft and had just a thick head like a mushroom. He was a regular guy back then but I saw him recently and he looks much better now. He was pretty nice but I had not much relationship with him.

Marcos: He was more or less my size when we were 14 y.o. Maybe he was just a late bloomer like I was. Never seen him ever since.

The only guy that I remember as being big is Pablo, who was a guy who was bullied. I was so surprised the first time I saw it. We were at a school trip, I went to his room and he opened the room naked and it looked so big to me then. I was really impressed.

That reminds me that when I was about 12 or 13 y.o at a school trip, one guy called José told some of us to go to his room. We were a few guys there and José who was a chubby guy did a strip tease standing on a table. He had a small-ish dick. I was the small dick in high school. I played basketball and most of the guys on the team were bigger limp than I am hard. There was a guy named Daddy who was a nerdy little guy and he was small, but not as small as me. I was probably the only guy he could make fun of.

I don't recall anyone from HS showers because they were voluntary. Since the gym was located in Siberia and you had to muscle your way through the most crowded hallway in the building, there simply wasn't enough time to shower and make it to your next class without being marked late. 

However, I still remember the Sheely brothers from 7th grade because they were the only guys with a bush. Not to mention, since they were ahead of us in puberty, the looked really hung compared to the rest of us.

The smaller average guys like me all just blended  in with the mass,  it was the big long soft ones that stuck in my mind because the showers were not that many in number.

Wonder if the smaller guys blended in because of "our" insecurities.
We noticed and remember the larger guys as they "confirm" we are small(er), whereas those similar or smaller are ignored.

When we observe all the traffic on the streets and highways, we just see normal vehicles and pay little attention. .....   It is only those few vehicles that for some reason, noticeably stand out getting our attention.

HS sports were a challenge, a few of us smaller guys hung in the corner lockers while the big boys sturdied openly. I recall one red head bright orange hair and glistened when he was wet, but he always walked up to us with his towel over his shoulder and commented of a play or something to us. I do believe he thought we enjoyed seeing him standing there

Never was a big deal showering at school we just showered and went on some of us smaller than others. No one ever said anything unless you got hard in showers lol!

Impressive memory. I was never into athletics and marching band thankfully doubled as a PE credit. ❤️ But I recall at band camp the shower was communal. It wasn't a big deal, as it was a week long overnight kinda deal so it was used at everyone's leisure with no serious time crunch. There was really one guy that stuck in my mind after all these years. A true freshman who would always wait until late at night to creep into the shower. I suspect that he thought the lot of us were asleep but I wasn't... as he stripped i quickly learned why he would wait so long. He hadn't hit puberty. At all. I kinda felt sorry for him. I'm glad he was able to find a way to avoid that kind of embarrassment.

Yeah, that's the thing about being young and in puberty. We only know what we know. I started at 11, so by the time I was in high school having an "adult" penis was kind of old hat, but someone else's experience might have been different. And that's okay. If only we had forums like these growing up, we'd more quickly come to the realization that there is a wider range of "normal" than we initially thought!

I was that guy still in 7th-9th grade and little improved by 10th and still no one smaller still in 11th and 12th.  I was ridiculed often, but guys feeling sorry for me wasn't much better, especially if they let me know.  Some would say it wasn't my fault.  Duh!

Well, there was a fat kid with his dick lost in fat, but I was real thin and still just a thin little nub.

I recall 2 Swedish brothers with reddish blond hair and amazingly long flaccid dongs.  I couldn't keep my eyes off them.  By 10th grade I was determined to "go straight", they reminded me, just by watching them, that maybe I wasn't

I’m 31 YO and I never showered in highschool. We would just change in the locker rooms and showers were optional, I don’t remember anyone using them. I have showered at fitness clubs and there are always stalls in my experience.

 

it was still difficult because people noted that I have a smaller than avg. bulge in my boxer briefs but it wasn’t too distressing.

Showers weren't a thing in PE, but after basketball games it was. Coach used to say, "I'm not riding on a bus with a bunch of sweaty teenagers". The cheerleaders also rode the bus with is, so we didn't want to stink.

I'm pushing 80.  Everyone showered in my day, gym and sports.  Being afraid to shower was seen as worse than a small dick or no puberty.

Samer here, it was mandatory to shower after PE, and also to wear a jockstrap.  The coach would come around and pull the waistband of your gym shorts out to check see if you had one on.   Everybody had to have wet hair in the locker room before you left lol.
