For those of you who believe in prayer...

The oldest son was found unconscious on a street today.  He is in very critical condition in a Columbus Ohio hospital.  I know very little more at this time.

He is barely semi-conscious now and agitated, attempting to reach to pull out his support tubing. ... Has had some AFib during the night.  ... Has pneumonia and streptococcus infection and his system is septic. ... They are trying to figure out the best routes of treatment.

His sister nearest his age lives in Columbus, but says she is not allowed to visit him,...as they say he is in such a state where as family visiting him would cause more upset than good.

.......

I want to thank all of you for being such Kind and Supporting Friends.!!  ... It means a Lot to know there are those who care and are helping hold you up.

It's great that even when sometimes we here can disagree on some issues, ... when it boils down to it....we are All Good Buddies, and hold up and Support each other.  ....  Thank You All So Much.!!

Septic shock is dangerous.  An old friend died of it due to a misdiagnosed bowel infection at the nursing home.

Staff thought his complaints indicated just acid stomach.  Hospital MDs said prompt treatment with antibiotics would have saved him.

Hope things go well.

I just received this text message from his sister there in Columbus.  ...  I'm glad that he is alert and came out of unconsciousness, but I'm concerned that they aren't capable of convincing him that he is not fit to leave the hospital yet.  ... It worries me.!!
