Alan has not visited this site since January 7.  Something is seriously amiss.

It seemed odd to me that he had not stifled some too-explicit profile pictures.

@canuck45 may know what has become of Rod, as I believe he was a founding member...

Incidentally, it seems that the last logged visit here by any admin was that of @JTT(on the 24th Feb). Many of the mods have been inactive for years.

This may sound strange, but I'm ignorant on this type of thing.  ...  If someone here has lots of money and can afford to do so, before this site would go defunct, is there a way to go through Invision for a buyout.?

No idea how much storage is needed for 20 years of text postings (the forums)

April 14 we had 5157 users online apparently.
If you leave the page but don't sign out, you show as online.
Sean once requested we sign out and not just close the page.

Hard to believe that number,  usually only 40 or 50 online at once.

... That hardly makes sense.  ..  There should be some system, that if there is no activity for a week or two weeks they would be automatically signed off....

If the expenses keep climbing at such a rate, it would be no surprise that it's not affordable to run, especially since this site does not use advertising.

Well as long as you are browsing, it would be active....posting, clicking on links, reading,  scrolling, anything that sends a "request" to the server.  Only if you are idle (doing nothing, its open in the background) will it sign you out.

What if you close your connection to the url without signing out and usually close your browser too?  Somehow I never heard about signing out.  Probably too focused on sex!

I never leave the connection open as others could review my deep dark secrets!

This isn't actually the case, because everytime I write a long post (often as you know!), the server signs me out.

I think to be honest most are just people who misunderstand what the place is about, rather than sinister weirdos or perverts. Guys with enormous 7" endowments also post picture after picture, claiming  l they're too small. Doubtless they also pleasure themselves as we swoon over their huge size, which people often  do. I myself tend to humour them...

It's interesting to speculate whether these people are as guilty with their humble bragging, as the other type seeking sph: another variation would be a small guy dick pic poster"jacking off" to sp worship or praise.

Technically they're all rule breakers...

I think that many are just lonely, and again, don't understand what the community's about. I only really realised the real philosophy behind it quite recently myself. 

In all fairness it is a bit ambiguous. A large minority are replicating the themes of the reddit type sites, i.e comparing, big dick worship, titillation, shading off into mild sph.

Of course r/smalldickproblems punished sph with a vengence, but had a misogyny problem, replicated in a milder form here.

There's the boathouse section and vid chat too, now not so active, which slightly confuses things.You have to distinguish what belongs where. Some people imagine that we're essentially a guy dating site. Remember Pinkie's old comments about someone off on a rant like that?. It turns out he repressed, and gay himself. Many people who come here are just confused.
