General support/Q&A

[Didnt Grow Much]

I sent a couple of questions to the indicated administrative member, but haven’t heard anything yet, so I am hoping somewhere on the site there are Q&A, instructions for use, or tech-support pages, or a tech support person to contact. If those do not exist, anyone who would be willing to respond to one or more of the following would be helpful and very much appreciated:

1.  I am having trouble figuring out how to easily maneuver back-and-forth between notifications and the forum post they are referring to, the same with Mail I have received.

2.  When I mess up a post somehow that I didn’t edit as thoroughly as I should have, is there a way to edit if I find a mistake days later? Same question for topic titles. While using talk to text, I said “four year college,” and it came out as “for your college.” I’m sure being less wordy on my part would help.

Using my computer I right click and open new notifications/mail in a new tab.

Clicking on the notification takes you directly to the post.
Then scroll up, click on notifications and pick the next one.

Same with mail, takes you directly to the message.

I only use my iPhone or iPad for this site since I’m often not near my computer. Do you know how to do the same thing on those two devices? Thanks for the help.

The system software limits the available time to correct a post to just a few minutes; consequently, careful proofreading and attention to detail are both paramount.

30 minutes BUT cannot delete a post.
Sometimes I will type it in word, then copy and paste as plain text.

You just have to scroll back up to the top of the page. Then press to read the next notification.

Actually, playing around with it I discovered that if I hold down on the word, it allows me to open up a new tab.

Likewise, especially for longer posts.
