[I Didnt Grow Much]

 The lack of administration on this site is beyond ridiculous, maybe better described as:  INCOMPETENT, IMPOTENT, FRUSTRATING, and USELESS.

Prior to my current site name, “I Didnt Grow Much,” I was “Didnt Grow Much.” I finally had to set up a new account after I unknowingly thought I could change my email from one I didn’t use anymore to one I do use. After the change, I clicked on the button and then was told I had to have a verification email. Unfortunately, I had already deleted my old, unused, email account.

I tried numerous ways of getting back in without any positive results. No matter how many times I received a response to verify my ability to change my password and email information, nothing worked. I first closed all of my web browsers, and reopened them, but that didn’t work either. Finally, I shut down my iPhone and retried, but nothing worked. I then began emailing the admin by clicking the contact admin button. I then sent one or two emails every other day, still no answer. I have now waited for about 10 days, but I’ve heard nothing. I finally decided the only option was to create a new sign on, which I have done.

I also had a problem before this, when I was “Didnt Grow Much,” where I asked to have access to the smaller exchange. I had fully filled out my profile, and qualified by size, but after many emails, I heard nothing back.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with the administration, or lack thereof, on this site? It is clearly time for new administration. I don’t care if they’re in negotiations to sell this site or merge with another site, just taking an extremely extended vacation, or dead. If you’re not going to be available as the admin, please turn it over to three or four other people who can fill in in their absence. I have never been involved with a site where an admin doesn’t respond. The least they could do is send a reply when you request something of them stating that they’re unavailable, but that your email is being redirected to other admins.

We have all been concerned.  ... The lead administrator has been silent for months, which is totally out of the norm. 

The site tech has also been quiet, and usually appears anymore mainly if he has been contacted by the administrator that there's a problem. 

We are all at a loss as to what is happening. We hope that it doesn't have to do with good administrator's health.

No one has been able to figure out how to contact either one of them as of yet.

You would think that the loss of future revenue would produce a result, but it hasn't.

FYI - Nobody on this planet is ENTITLED to anything here.   @I Didnt Grow Much this post is out of line, violates the rules and is abusive to the VOLUNTEER admins of this site.  Adjust your expectations or you will be permanently banned.  This is not a resource at your beck and call. This is a community online, that has existed by member support and members running it since 2001.  

For those following, this IDIOT registered twice, changed his email, got confused about what account he was in, and didn't get an immediate response to get access to a private forum (a privilege by the way, NOT a right) because Alan, our primary admin is sick.  I'll violate our own rules (but I pay the bills so I'm allowed) and say "F U".   

You have been warned, repeat behavior exhibiting "entitlement" and public shaming of VOLUNTEER admins on this site, will result in a permanent BAN.   Fucking DISRESPECTFUL!    Will NOT BE Tolerated!

In fact....  The more I read that, demanding new administration.... HELLO Volunteers.   I'm banning him for 6 months.   

Be RESPECTFUL People - NOBODY is "Entitled" to anything. This is a COMMUNITY forum, run by volunteer administrators and moderators.  Yes, we sell gallery access to help cover the costs of software and hosting.... it doesn't fully cover it.  I fund the rest out of MY Pocket to make the resource available for guys who need support and help - I will NOT Pay my own money to be abused by this Ass Wipe.   Good bye.  I decided on permanent BAN!

But this is not a business, nor money making enterprise.   I end up covering all the expense overages out of my pocket.  But I have a life and a job.   As long as it can sustain and I can afford to keep it - I will keep the site here.    But I will not tolerate entitlement like the original poster (who has since been permanently banned).  

Invision is the software company they wouldn't have any involvement in the running of the forum.   This community has been member run, member administrated, member moderate and member supported since 2001.  

I am doing my best to keep the site online, it's a discussion forum people.. .not your netflix or Verizon service.   I have a job and a life.  Be respectful of the volunteers here.

Unfortunately when shit hits the fan in one area it sometimes happens in another.  Today my internet is inoperative and I’m reading and trying to navigate using a tiny iPhone and that’s not going to be enough for me.

I have to have my MacBook to see everything and respond.  I am like teenagers who go crazy when the power goes out.

I just want to chirp in here.  I have been a member pretty well since it's inception.  Aside from a few short interruptions have never had a problem.  The admins have always been responsive, anyone that's been around knows this and  that lack of response concerned me.  Not incompetence but concern for the staff's well being.

Back when I did tech support for MS, we had a few expressions.
