Is there a page somewhere to figure out what the rankings are and why they exist?

I haven’t been able to find a window that shows the rankings of members and why they exist. Also, what are the two tiny circles that appear on the bottom left and top right of your circular identification pic?

... It took me a while of searching to find what I think you might be looking for. 

... Go to your profile page, and then scroll down till you find the section that says "your achievements" ...  Then you can click on each picture to bring up the scores.

I have another question for everyone. Earlier, I posted something about access to administrators. Ethan promptly responded to me and was very helpful.

Does anyone know why Ethan is not a full administrator? There’s a vote, my vote’s for him.

@Ethan is listed as staff, but not a moderator or administrator.

As to why that is, only Ethan can answer really.

The question as to whether people need to take on more power or responsibility ( new moderators) might arise due to the fact that the usual people in that role are inactive.

Also, as far as I'm aware the community is not a full democracy, in the sense that the people running it are voted in: "there's a vote".

Few internet sites ar communities are.

Guys -- I am a moderator.  If you go back in history here you will clearly see that Sean is Chair, Josh is Pres and Alan is VP.  I am a moderator and some of our other moderators are dead, but others are lost in space.  I can delete or hide any post here or delete or ban.

As to why I am not a full administrator -- I don't need to be.  RodEnuf handled all that beautifully up until recently.  He's had a medical setback.  I pray he will be back soon.  And, Jtt.  He's currently away on a cruise or something. Let's not forget that Jtt wrote all of the software we utilize.  He's perfectly competent and brilliant.  He's got a busy career and I don't want a career anymore.  I've come out of my hibernation to help out.  With my mere moderator powers I can do practically everything that comes along.  But, if some hacker get in and posts hundreds of crap then I would have to get Jtt involved.  Chat stuff bores me so you won't find me there.

The beautiful thing about Measurection is all of you.  Many of your names are familiar to me because we all go back to the beginning of this place. You guys are loyal and your eyes and ears are important to ward off the imposters and freakish types.  So keep up your vigilance and report to us your suspicions.  I cannot be here 24/7.  I just want to say thank you for your patience.  Rodenuf will be back soon I surely hope.  He's a very dear friend and we both go back to the beginning of "Les Measérables".

As to the original question about rankings.  Ranking is just a word Jtt picked.  Inasmuch as I can tell the "ranking" is merely based on number of posts one had made cumulative since your profile was first registered.  There's nothing more to it.  You hover your mouse to one of the icons around your "circle" on a post (left side) and it tells you various things.  One of mine says "Ethan is a moderator" and the other says "Rank: Grand Master 14/14".  I am not a master.  I'm not so grand either.  14/14 -- I can only imagine it has to do with 14 out of 14 things checked off that my profile represents.  I don't know -- I suppose it means I have a lot of history posting stuff here plus I filled out my profile somewhat.  I didn't answer everything yet it gives me a perfect 14 out 14 score.  Maybe it's skewed since I'm an insider.  Surely Josh wouldn't favor me.  ???  Well, I favor him because he's my favorite Mouseketeer.  If you don't know it by now he eats, sleeps, and drinks DisneyWorld.  The boy who never grew up.  I'm a bit childish as well.  Why grow up and be an old fart?  The Measurection team has a sense of humor.

I think what might be confusing people is that you are not shown in your profile as a mod, even though you are listed as staff...

All the people you mention, the founder, Sean, Alan, etc are described as Admin, until bigAl ( moderator), but then if you click on your name, your profile just says "members"...

Having a big bar under my name saying Moderator -- I did not want that to interfere with my interaction with other members.  Like as if I had a police badge affixed to my shirt.  I enjoy being a part of the group and being naughty too at times.  I am into having fun.  

Jtt obliged me and removed the insignia from my profile.  But, hover your mouse over the top right of big circle where my logo pic is and it says "Ethan is a moderator".  It doesn't really matter to me whether you believe me or not.  

I like my reputation that Ethan is a naughty boy.  But, when someone pulls some shit here Ethan can make it right.
