I was just reading a post where someone said they didn’t know why they were small as painful as it is, I know why I am.
I was born with a condition called hypospadias, which means that my urethral opening is somewhere under the tip of my penis. My doctor said there are 5 degrees of it. If your urethral opening is below the tip, but still on the glans, that’s the least severe case. The next degree is what I have, which is where the urethral opening is just below the glans, but at the end of the shaft. The next degree is when the opening is somewhere along the middle of the shaft. Then at the bottom of the shaft just above your scrotum, and the most severe is when it opens below your scrotum. If you ever are wondering what it looks like, you can find the videos easily online by searching for, hypospadias pics, or hypospadias ejaculation. When I was born, in the 1960s, there was a surgery that could be done to correct it, but since mine was considered a mild case, based on where the opening was, the doctor strongly suggested against it, so my parents left it. I am somewhat lucky because I still have a nice size slit at the end of my head, and there is a small indentation there that makes it look like my urethral opening. So, anyone looking at it from the front would think it’s normal. Anyone looking from the side, or down from the top, like when showering or standing at a urinal, if they looked, it would appear my urine comes out from the tip of my penis. Thankfully, that has prevented questions about it. It hasn’t any effect on my ability to ejaculate normally, and I am a decent length shooter, but I use a bathroom stall because I have to be extremely careful when I urinate. Since my opening is right at the bottom, and not surrounded by all of the tissue of the glans, if I were to hold it more than very gently, or if it were to touch my underwear or pants, my pee stream is impossible to control.

Unfortunately, a very large percentage of men with hypospadias have dicks that are smaller than normal. It is caused by the mother not having a couple of the right hormones at specific times during the pregnancy, especially the last 12 days before birth. This is also why a decent number of premature boys have smaller dicks. One of the hormones is testosterone, which women do you have, at least during pregnancy. I don’t remember the name of the other one. So, at least my parents knew what to possibly expect and were prepared for it.
If you want to see some real human disaster  videos, look for videos on porn sites of guys with the condition. Back when I was born so many of those operations just mutilated a guy‘s penis, often needing multiple surgeries for correction, and still it was never right. Now, the surgeries are better, but because that area is so hard to heal, there are still guys with negative side effects. There have been a few guys online who said they’ve had more than 12 surgeries to correct previous surgeries. The CDC reports that one in every 150 boys born in the US have the condition. There are still a very much higher percentage of boys in India born with this condition, which you can find about online, but I would assume this happens across the Third World more commonly as well.

The opposite condition is called Epispadias, where the urethral opening is above the tip of the penis, but that is extremely rare, with only one in 117,000 boys born with the condition.

Someone once asked me that if I had the choice back then if I would’ve had the surgery, I said no since the only thing the surgery does is correct where your urethra opens. It does nothing for the size. If my condition had been much more severe, I’m sure my parents would’ve had the surgery at the doctors request. There are some guys who are average size or larger who have the condition, but they’re not the norm. I tried a support group for it on the web, but nearly all the guys were in much worse shape than me, so I kept hearing how lucky I was, which didn’t help.

If those of you have are willing, sharing about your situation, might help others who are suffering from the same thing.

Thanks for listening.

Allow me to give my take on this since I have personal experience with both situations. I was born normal as far as how (and where) fluids exited my penis. But for several very good personal reasons (which I won't get into here) I didn't want fluids exiting my penis in the future. Therefore I went from having a normal penis to a form of hypospadias where my urethral opening is now at the top of my scrotum. Obviously, I can no longer pee standing up and am no longer a normal male in regard to fluids exiting my penis.

So after having experience with both worlds... would I want to go back to being 'normal'? The answer is definitely NO! I prefer having hypospadias despite that I am no longer 'normal' and cannot pee standing as it offers me advantages which are more important to me. The first thing that is important to realize is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being 'different' and there isn't necessarily just one way a penis needs to look or function.  in reality, hypospadias isn't a physical disability in itself but has more to do with being a 'state of mind' and possibly maybe more of just 'wanting what we don't have'.

I think the main consideration shouldn't be one of 'being different' and wanting to be 'normal' or if one needs to make adjustments to the way they pee but after considering the advantages and disadvantages of the alternatives what suites the individual personally. I personally prefer to sit to pee in privacy. However, while there is a choice available... it's just easier to take the easy way out.

I don’t take any offense at your post, but when you’re standing at a urinal, and you pee all over yourself, or on someone else, because you have hypospadia, it’s not just a state of mind. The state of my mind on the condition is that I was born with it, fortunately my penis functions 99.99% of the time normally as far as pee and ejaculate go, and so I’ve lived with it without any actual problem, other than the fact that a large percentage of men with this condition are smaller than average. Further, because I clearly am in public showers regularly, and have been for decades, having the condition is something I never worried about even when I found out about it.

I certainly think that most men who have the condition and their urethral opening is on the bottom side of their glans, or just at the very end of the shaft likely don’t have a problem with it. However, for those men whose opening is lower, and often times not naturally directed forward, it’s both a real problem and a state of mind about a fact.

Just my two cents worth.

I have never seen anyone in person with it, but there is a man and his wife that post regularly on Adultism and I love that guys cock. So sexy to watch him cum.

... I knew one guy with this condition.  .. He had a dent where the normal opening would be, and his actual opening was where the frenulum would normally be.  ... When he peed or squirted his sperm, it shot down from under the head of his dick instead of out in front.

A light hypospadia could looks even cute and hot.

As I said, it's a state of mind. Your particular state of mind is 'negative' but it could just as well be 'positive'. Some people prefer to sit to pee and 'YES' there are advantages to that. With the meatus at the end of the penis those people often have a problem of peeing between the seat and bowl wetting their pants. With the opening on the underside of the penis it just goes down. (ask me how I know) Depending on one's state of mind having the opening at the top of the scrotum can act as a contraceptive and can allow for getting oral to climax with women who won't take semen into their mouth. It's great for female partners as they don't have a dripping mess after PIV sex. Wives like not having a sticky mess from pee over the toilet bowl and on the floor. Some people prefer to be 'different' and not like everyone else. See it all depends on your state of mind.

I consider myself lucky because even though my urethra opens just below the head of my penis, everything that comes out of it shoot directly forward. Unfortunately, for many men with this condition, the location and shape of the opening can cause them to pee at an angle or straight down.

... That's the way my friend I mentioned above was. If he didn't lift the head upwards when he peed it would go straight down.  If not holding on to it and his balls were hanging, he would have pissed on his balls. And if his balls were drawn up more, he would have pissed back between his legs.

These are the guys who might be better off to sit to pee. Assuming there are an equal number of females in the world as males - and considering that there are a number of males that already sit to pee - It would be safe to say that probably more than half of the population currently sits to pee. Nothing wrong with that!

Yes, I was born with a distal (mild) but complete hypospadias of the glans, and coincidentally with a -3,5 SD micropenis too.

But regarding your assertion that hypospadias is statistically linked to shorter/smaller penises, it seems to be true only for proximal (severe) hypospadias.

Based on various studies, boys born with an anterior (balanic) hypospadias seem to have exactly the same penile length average than "normal" (non hypospadic) boys.

We've been in touch about hypospadias, but I'm one of those guys that pisses at a downward angle

While most guys who are born with hypospadias are upset about the idea and often try to get it repaired I was fascinated and intrigued by it and by the way females peed. I also disliked that bodily waste exited a part of my body that provided sexual pleasure. So I intentionally made a new opening in my urethra at the top of my scrotum and permanently blocked off the old urethra so I would never have fluids exit my penis. The consequence of that is that when I pee or cum it goes straight down making sitting or squatting to pee easy. At night I wear a long sleep shirt so when I have to pee I just straddle the toilet bowl backwards while standing and just let it flow and it goes straight down into the bowl. I don't even have to touch myself. I also get to have privacy when I pee while out in public because I always use a stall. So while most guys just see the negative aspects of having hypospadias all I see is the positive aspects. My wife loves that the rim of the toilet and floor are perfectly clean now and that she doesn't have a dripping mess from her vagina after sex. It cannot be denied that like most things in life... one's feeling about hypospadias is just a frame of mind.

This is true about nearly everything in life. It's not what happens to you that matters, but how you react to it.

You have a great attitude. I've always found that people with unique looking (and functioning) body parts is very sexy. I dated a girl with inverted nipples and I loved them. When they got hard they would be perfectly flat. We still friends to this day and I'd love to know if after having babies, her nipples look the same. I don't know how she'd breastfeed.

I agree 100%. The routine stuff does little for me. It is the things that are different that are exciting, Seeing a guy with hypospadias would be exciting to me vs seeing a regular penis. Being different is a blessing and and not a curse.

100% agree. Not that I have anything against "normal", but it's very exciting when someone has something unique.

I had a female friend (just a friend) who confided in me that she had a severe breast asymmetry. I told her most women do and she said, "not like mine". One of her boobs was a D cup, the other was a A cup. She had to have a pad in her bra to look normal. After much alcohol and prodding, she finally showed me. I confessed it turned me on line crazy. I told her it would be like being with two women at once. LOL! :)

The advantage is that the point of impact doesn't change with pressure as it does when it is going out horizontally.

Exactly! I have a huge fetish for irregular breasts. Tubies, cone shaped ones, saggy ones, flat ones, huge nipples, baloney areola...you name it. It's such a treat to have a woman show you her tits and they look different than the last 5000 pair you saw when jacking to porn.

Most women have some form of asymmetry. A buddy of mine dated a girl that had a C cup on the right and a D cup on the left. Sadly, she got the D cup reduced to match the C cup. :(

Nooooooo!!!!

It's a shame she wasn't exposed to more messages like the past few posts.

We had met a woman (partner of our poly friends) who had a B cup on one side and DD on the other.  It was a very dramatic difference (we did see her nude).  She used padding under her bra when wearing clothing.

Fascinating!!

What else is fascinating? Hypospadia! Hey @I Didnt Grow Much I brought it back. 😁

I have noticed for a few years now, that another employee that I work with always grabs paper towels before going to the urinal. This has interested me for years, trying to understand why. Hey I am curious about alot of things OK. Not just dick . . .well maybe this falls under that too. Anyways I think this condition is a suitable answer to my curiosity. I had never heard of this before. 51 and still learning shit
