I know the old saying is that you shouldn't dwell on the past, but it's tough not to think back about all the stuff you didn't do because you were so worried about your self-image, and that people would find out about your terrible, dark secret (I know that sounds overly dramatic, but sometimes that's how it felt, at least at the time)

I may not be much to look at these days (LOL), but I was pretty good looking back in my teens and twenties. I remember any number of times in high school that girls would try to flirt with me, and classmates would tell me that they heard the girl tell her friends that she liked me.
I more or less just rejected them, or at least acted like I wasn't interested, and some of these girls were really aggressive and that frankly scared me because I had no self-confidence, and the fact that if things got too "involved" they would discover how small I was .. she would be repulsed and I would be humiliated. Worse, she might start laughing and then run to tell are her friends about it.

Looking back, I missed out on what could have been some very good experiences. I'm in a much better mental place today with regards to my "equipment". I just wish the teenage me would have had as much confidence as I have today.

The reason I'm telling this story is because this place, this website, and the people here, are an important part of what got me to that better place . . . .

SAME!

It wasn't until I was in my early 30's when I started to love having a small penis. Since then I have discovered that so many people love small dicks. I also discovered that big dicks...I mean really large ones....aren't all that much fun. Can't deep throat them. Can't take them balls deep in my ass. Two hands required to jerk them off. And most really hung men are just all about their cock.

You know, really everyone should realize that their dicks are extensions from a person... And not the person being the extension from their dicks.

Yep. I've been having a DM conversation with someone on this site about how they prefer smaller penises. I think the whole "bigger is better" stems from porn. I know the times I've hooked up with hung men, it's been less satisifying than when I've hooked up with small or average men.

I "play" with a few larger guys and quite satisfying.
They tend to think, "bigger so what".  Might be a case of penis size and attitude, they don't think bigger is better per se, so don't have an "ego"

... Thanks.!!  👍....

So many people just automatically assume that if you're larger than the average size, it makes you an egotistical asshole.  ..  That just is not the automatic assumption one should have.

Well with "purpose" of this site, would not expect the egotists to be here....or to last long here (no pun)

An presumption, based on the experience...?

I'm not talking about hung guys being assholes or anything. It just that they are very aware that they are hung. Same with a woman who has big tits. I know a guy with a huge cock and he is embarrassed by it. Says as soon as someone finds out he's hung all they want to talk about is sex and how big he is.

I'm just saying that a big cock is usually a focal point, but good sex involves way more than a penis. I, personally, have had better experiences with small to average men. Maybe because I feel more comfortable with them. Who knows.

Thanks for posting this, from what ive read the problem is almost always confidence not dick size. The lack of confidence makes us "gun shy" to get into situations where our dicks will be on display. Confidence is the hurdle we have to overcome.

... I just checked your profile, as I do not memorize everyone's equipment dimensions.  😄. .... Your size definitely should not be a detriment in the social world of dicks.  ...  I know it wouldn't be to me.   ...  I would accept the fact that, you have a dick. 👍

Porn certainly is a problem in distorting men's and women's impressions of what most men look like, but I think another huge factor is lousy sex education. In my school (back in the mid 70's) sex education was essentially non-existent, is it any wonder none of us knew what normal/average was supposed to be.

I remember as a kid looking at pornos and seeing huge dicks and thinking I was screwed. I was a late bloomer already and my self confidence was shot. But we had a good sex ed program maybe too good So it helped a little.

For years I had no idea where I "Fit in". Didn't even know I was small for a long time. Always thought I was average. Ignorance is bliss but I could've also gotten into some embarrassing situations due to it.

In the end it all turned out OK but I'm glad I know now.

WOW! "where I "fit in"! What is that supposed to mean? That is such a foreign concept to me. Fit into what? Society? The male 'penis owning' group? A particular penis size group? A particular level of masculinity or self esteem? I never knew I was supposed to "fit in".

I don't think the commentor meant to imply anything negative. All of us have a desire to "fit in" .. that is, to be accepted as a liked person by the people arounds us. We also have a desire to be seen as a unique individual, with our own skills and talents. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Sorry, bad phrasing there.

Let's be honest, once you realise you're not "average" sized, the obvious question is, what size am I? Relative to everyone else, where does it go? Well, that's what I wanted to know anyway. Desperately. That's what I meant by "Fit in".
Let's say, where am I on the scale of all penis owners in the world. Not just numerically, but visually. To have that intuitive perception of the range of shapes and sizes so I can place my own accurately.

@NuderThanNude He was asking the question about himself with no negative vibe towards anyone else.

He was not talking about you.

JasonBeam - Jacc69 - Like2Compare - I understand that there was nothing negative meant by Jacc69. I just have a hard time understanding the concept of "Fit In" when it comes to penis size. I guess you would have to believe there is some significance to being in a particular size slot. I personally don't know which size penis is best as I don't believe what others tell me as in most cases they have an agenda when telling you that. I wasn't especially big but I got complaints a couple times when I got to frisky and plunged to deep. I've never had a girl make any comments regarding size and always believed it had more to do with how you used what you had. I never had any complaints. So it you asked me "where do you want to fit in" I wouldn't be able to answer that. If you know what I mean.

Personally I don't care how I compare with other guys. They have to learn to use what they have and the same goes for me. I don't have an 8 inch penis so knowing how to use one or wanting one isn't important to me. I really don't think one would give me any more pleasure. In my experience from when I was a young boy that tiny penis I had back then was awesome.

Very true. My sex education in 10th grade was a video of the inside of a vagina and a penis ejeculating in it, then the rest of the video was about the woman being pregnant and giving birth. You never saw anything other than the head of the penis. It was such a big deal that our parents had to sign a form for us to view it. It also showed the woman breastfeeding. All very clinical. The teacher threatened anyone who commented or acted out would be sent to the office.

My parents were worthless too. My Dad's sex talk to me was, "Son, when your dick gets hard, it will get you in a lot of trouble. Keep it in your pants".

I pretty much know by the time I was 12yo that I had smaller than normal dick. I held out hope of a late blooming until I was about 19. I finally accepted that I just have a little one.

What took me MANY more years to learn was that having a small dick doesn't mean anything. You can still be a good lover. It doesn't define your masculinity. It's a real shame society (in the United States anyway) believes sex is dirty, immoral, filthy, wrong, etc. that it's never discussed, especially with children...that's "abuse".

As a parent, I never shied away from being open and honest with my child. When she got curious and asked, I didn't tell her babies came from a stork or some bullshit. I told her the truth. Sex is a normal, natural, beautiful, wonderful thing. Why they can show violence, fighting, shootings, etc on TV but we can't show breasts, penises, balls, or asses is just confusing to me. It's just a body part for goodness sake. It's not poison.

I'm kind of glad that they don't show penises more in movie scenes and on TV because when they do they usually show larger ones and I sit there thinking to myself. I hope my wife doesn't get the idea that all other guys are like that. Plus there is the derogatory remarks made to guys by other guys, regardless if they are actually small or not, that they are trying to compensate for having a small one. That in itself instills the idea that small is inferior and I don't like my wife hearing that as she never cared previously.

I suppose you're correct. But what if they showed all sizes? How refreshing it would be for those of us who are below average. Do a quick survey of reported dick sizes on adult websites or chat lines. Every guy claims to have 8, 9 or 10 inches. Science shows us those sizes are VERY VERY VERY rare. There are far more 4" penises than 8" penises. A 6" penis is actually pretty large.

They show women's boobs quite often. It doesn't seem to matter if they are big or small, they show them all. I recall the movie "Wildcats" with Goldie Hawn back in the 80's They showed her topless and her boobs were very small. But I jacked off to that scene many times. In porn, many of the port actresses had small boobs. That never stopped them from being in porn. It seems it's only the penis that is misrepresented as being bigger than normal. And it's also a common belief that a bigger dick is better for sex, and that isn't true at all. I know plenty of women who claim a really big cock hurts and is uncomfortable. A bruised cervix isn't pleasurable.

Absolutely! But they don't. The same way the remarks are derogatory and not complementary. But Yes, I would love to see all sizes.

That was the thing I loved most about Goldie Hawn.

The sad part is that guys with small penis feed the lies about large penises being better by wishing they themselves were larger and explaining all the insecurities and issues they have had because of their small size. Small penis guys need to start loving what they have and start seeing all of the advantages and advertising them. Then maybe large penis guys might start wondering what they are missing out on. Peoples perceptions can change as they did with hairless pubes/bodies on males and breast size on females. The more I say how much more I prefer small breasts to other males, the more I hear guys start to admit the same thing. That's part of the reason I am as vocal as I am about the advantages of having a small penis and how I went out of my way to make mine smaller.

THIS!! And that starts with NOT LYING ABOUT YOUR SIZE! (sorry for yelling...but I hate when someone lies).

I have been very open about my small penis with nearly everyone I know. I've even wanted to get a tattoo of something that indicates my erect size so people will ask "what is that" and I can explain it to them. My wife says "No".

I have had several guys tell me they are average or big only to tell me the truth when they find out how small mine is. One of my co-workers and I were at lunch years ago and we were complaining about how our wives don't fuck us. I told him I couldn't blame my wife as I really don't have much to work with. He laughed, assuming I was joking, and he said, "Well, I don't have that issue". We continued to talk and he finally asked, "How big are you?". When I told him I was 4.5" erect, he paused and said, "I'm about the same size". Then we have a nice conversation about our experiences with our small penises. We laughed and shared many stories and embarrassing moments. He told me, "I've never told anyone my actual size, not even my wife". That's the sad thing. Men are so ashamed to have a small penis that they lie and don't tell anyone.
