Welcome to Measurection.com!
While our site started 10 years ago for men with penis insecurities, it has become so much more. It has grown to become a site dealing with all issues men face, including erectile dysfunction, sexual confusion, penis size rlated issues, and so much more.
The main issues that so many seem to face are related to self-confidence. Many people believe there is something wrong with them because they are different; because they are sexually confused, or because their equipment isn't quite like everyone else's. Once they can accept themselves for who they are, and love themselves for who they are, lives improve. Helping people feel better about themselves is our main goal.
You can read more about our site mission here.

'Last Lecture' professor, Randy Pausch, dies at 47
I made my very first BLOG post at the end of September last year. It was titled The Last Lecture. It was about then 46 year old Professor Randy Pausch of Carnegie Mellon who had been diagnosed with fatal pancreatic cancer. He had just given a lecture in a series called the 'Last Lecture' series. It was a series of lectures in which the speakers were invited to say what they imagined they would say if this were the last lecture of their life. As far as Randy Pausch was concerned, it really was.
On Friday, July 25, 2008, Randy Pausch died.
Here's his obituary from the Carnegie Mellon web site:
Randy Pausch Inspired MillionsRandy Pausch, the professor at Carnegie Mellon University who inspired countless students in the classroom and others worldwide through his highly acclaimed last lecture, has died of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 47.
Also a Carnegie Mellon alumnus, Pausch co-founded the Entertainment Technology Center and led researchers who created Alice, a revolutionary way to teach computer programming. He was widely respected in academic circles for a unique interdisciplinary approach, bringing together artists, dramatists and designers to break new ground by working in collaboration with computer scientists.
Outside the classroom, he gained public fame for delivering what would come to be known as "The Last Lecture." On Sept. 18, 2007, only a month after doctors told him that he had three-to-six months to live following a recurrence of pancreatic cancer, he presented a lecture called "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" to a packed auditorium at Carnegie Mellon.
The moving and often humorous talk recounted his efforts to achieve such childhood dreams as becoming a professional football player, experiencing zero gravity and developing Disney World attractions. In the process, he shared his insights on finding the good in other people, working hard to overcome obstacles and living generously.
"If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself," Pausch said. "The dreams will come to you."
The video appeared on countless websites and has been viewed by millions. Appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show, ABC's Good Morning America and the CBS Evening News followed.
A book version, "The Last Lecture" co-written by Jeff Zaslow of the Wall Street Journal (and a fellow Carnegie Mellon alumnus), became a best-seller upon its release this spring.
"Randy had an enormous and lasting impact on Carnegie Mellon," said Carnegie Mellon President Jared L. Cohon. "A brilliant researcher and gifted teacher, he was a key member of our Human-Computer Interaction Institute and co-founder of the Entertainment Technology Center. His love of teaching, his sense of fun and his brilliance came together in the Alice project, which teaches students computer programming while enabling them to do something fun — making animated movies and games. Carnegie Mellon — and the world — are better places for having had Randy Pausch in them."
Pausch was also a pioneer in the development of virtual reality, including creating the popular Building Virtual Worlds class.
A memorial service at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh is being planned; details will be announced at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Jai, and three children: Chloe, Dylan and Logan. The family requests that donations on his behalf be directed to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245, or to Carnegie Mellon's Randy Pausch Memorial Fund, which the university will use primarily to support continued work on the Alice project.
For more information on Randy's life and legacy, read In Memoriam: Randy Pausch, Innovative Computer Scientist at Carnegie Mellon, Launched Education Initiatives, Gained Worldwide Acclaim for Last Lecture.
__________
I close this post as I did my first blog post . . .
Now I commend the lecture to you, especially to those of you who still have more of your life ahead of you than behind. When you have an hour and a quarter to spare, watch "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," a lecture by Randy Pausch, recorded on September 18, 2007. It will be time well spent.

Wii Homebrew spawns Wiibrator
By Emma_UK - UK Gamespot News Blog
This is obviously just the kind of thing that Nintendo wanted to stamp out when it released firmware 3.3, complete with provisions intended to stop people from playing homebrew Wii games. The so-called Twilight Hack, which this firmware upgrade was reported to have disabled, involved manipulating a save game file for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to allow unauthorised code to run on the consoles.
When Harry Met Sally...
Well now its worst nightmares have come true--Nintendo's wholesome family console has become an adults-only vibrator in a unique homebrew application by Team DWiildo. Called the Wiibrator, the application runs through the Wii to make the Wii Remote, well, vibrate. Team DWiildo suggests using the Wii Remote jacket, for safety's sake, and instruct gamers to "Not try to use this with either the Wii Zapper or Wii Wheel peripherals."
There are four different "playing levels," in what is described as a "highly advanced technology demo." The team clearly have ideas for where the project is now going, possibly featuring the ability to add a "stimulating" slideshow of images, USB webcam support, and online chat functionality, as well as local multiplayer options to future versions.
Online multiplayer for up to 32 eager participants may also be coming soon. According to the info, "This would make it the first ever widely available tele-dildonics."

Russian Spa Erects Monument to Celebrate Enemas
By Murphy Diggins - Adult Video News
MOSCOW - Mashuk-Akva Term, a spa in the Russian city of Zheleznovodsk, has erected an 800-pound bronze syringe bulb upheld by three angels in celebration of enemas. Alexander Kharchenko, director of the spa, said the monument was created without kitsch or obscenity.
"It is a successful work of art," he told the Associated Press. "An enema is almost a symbol of our region."
In the Caucasus Mountains, dozens of spas are known for routinely administering enemas with water from the region's mineral springs to treat digestive and other complaints. The monument, which cost approximately $42,000 and was installed in front of Kharchenko's spa Wednesday, was designed by sculptor Svetlana Avakina, who said the 5-foot-high monument was designed with "irony and humor."
"This device is eternal," she said. "It will never change. We could promote this brand, turn it into a franchise with souvenirs and awards for medical doctors."
Svetlana also said the angels holding up the bronze syringe bulb were designed to resemble those on works by Alessandro Botticelli, an Italian Renaissance painter.

You know, it's weird... I started this weight loss journey as a fat chick. And all through it I guess I've identified myself as a fat chick heading down the road to healthy. At different stages of this journey I've been able to look in the mirror and see changes, and identify that it was a fat chick who was definately less fat than in the beginning looking back at me.
So here's the thing. This weekend I was out and about, wearing my favourite jeans, a brilliant blue tank top and a really cute sports jacket that I love. I caught sight of myself in a store window and HOLY SHIT. There was a healthy looking chick staring back at me!! Where the hell did she come from, and can I take her home and introduce her to the fat chick that's feeling less fluffy that lives in my mirror?
At what point does your mind catch up with the changes to your body? I'm down to 149 lbs now. By no means am I fat. Yes, I'm a tad bit overweight, with a BMI of 27, but considering I started at 38 (208lbs at 5'2"), I'm pretty damn happy with my progress.
Since Saturday, when I spotted that good lookin healthy chick in the window, I've occasionally seen her here at home. It seems she wars for time in my mirror with fat chick that has come a long ways but still has pockets of yuck to lose. When will she win and live there permanently? Will she ever?
I wonder...

Enzyte Distributor Convicted of Fraud
By G. Zisk Rice - Adult Video News
CINCINNATI - "Smiling Bob," the goofy pitchman for male-enhancement product Enzyte, may not be smiling quite so broadly these days. Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, the company that distributes the product, is considering massive changes in the wake of its founder's conviction on charges the company bilked consumers out of $100 million by employing misleading ads, manipulating credit card transactions and refusing to cancel orders or accept returns.
The six-week trial - which saw founder and president Steve Warshak and several other BPN executives, including Warshak's mother, fall on charges that included conspiracy, bank fraud and money laundering - ended in February. The guilty parties are scheduled to be sentenced in August.
In the meantime, BPN says it's looking for a new image. Changes may include a new name for the company and new concepts for its pitches. "Smiling Bob" may have to go.
"With innovative marketing, customer loyalty and demand, and the continued commitment of its employees, vendors and retail partners, Berkeley will get back to the $200-million-per-year company it used to be," the company said in a statement released last week.
BPN distributes several lines of products it claims will boost energy, manage weight, improve memory and aid relaxation, but Enzyte is the company's flagship product. Not surprisingly, Enzyte's marketing was the source of most of the complaints against the company. According to court documents, former employees testified BPN created fictitious doctors to endorse the product, fabricated customer-satisfaction surveys and manufactured "research" to support Enzyte's effectiveness. [Emphasis added.]
As for Warshak and the other defendants, they have forfeited more than $33 million in assets so far. In addition, Warshak faces as many as 20 years in prison.
The company, though, said it will bounce back.
"Despite the recent economic downturn, BPN has hired 70 employees in the last 45 days and looks to double the size of their call center by the end of '08," according to the statement released last week. "Plans are in place for more product launches and more aggressive recruiting."

Icelandic museum offers long and short of male organ
By Bob Strong
HUSAVIK, Iceland (Reuters) - Sigurdur Hjartarson is missing a human penis. But he's not worried: four men have promised to donate theirs to him when they die.
Hjartarson is founder and owner of the Icelandic Phallological Museum, which offers visitors from around the world a close-up look at the long and the short of the male reproductive organ.
His collection, which began in 1974 with a single bull's penis that looked something like a riding crop, now boasts 261 preserved members from 90 species.
The largest, from a sperm whale, is 70 kg (154 lb) and 1.7 meters (5.58 ft) long. The smallest, a hamster penis bone, is just 2 mm and must be viewed through a magnifying glass.
One species conspicuous by its absence is homo sapiens, but that may soon be rectified since a German, an American, an Icelander and a Briton have promised to donate their organs after death, according to certificates on display.
The American, 52-year-old Stan Underwood, supplied a written description of his penis -- which he purportedly nick-named "Elmo" -- for display alongside a life-size plastic mould of the member as well as his pledge to donate it.
Hjartarson said the Icelandic donor, a 93-year-old from nearby Akureyri, was a womanizer in his youth who thought having his penis in the collection might bring him eternal fame.
But vanity may make him rethink the offer.
"He has mentioned lately that his penis is shrinking as he gets older and he is worried it might not make a proper exhibit," Hjartarson said.

Rugby strip show caught on video
By Nerijus Adomaitis
VILNIUS (Reuters) - The Austrian national rugby team tried to get over their 48-0 defeat by Lithuania by staging a mass striptease in the capital Vilnius late on Saturday, only to find they had been caught on video and put on the Internet.
The video, put out by a blogger on social community website Virb and then taken up by the Lithuanian news portal Delfi, showed a group of 20 men singing and stripping off their clothes on a street in central Vilnius, while people in a nearby bar clapped and cheered. [Note: the video can now be seen on YouTube by clicking HERE.]
"Yes, these were the men we played against on Saturday ... I guess the defeat could have prompted them to do that," Lithuanian rugby federation President Aleksandras Makarenka told Reuters.
Delfi quoted the Vilnius police chief as saying stripping in public could be considered an act of hooliganism -- but by then the Austrian team had gone home.

No, not the kind you are thinking of... or is it?
As you know, I've turned over a new leaf and am on a journey towards a fit me. I've lost over 50 pounds and am feeling on top of the world.
Today is even better. Yesterday I did my first ever 10k run!! I had set a goal for myself to beat 90 minutes. I ended up finishing in 75 minutes!!
I was feeling a total let down this morning. The last 13 weeks I have been focused on training for the Vancouver Sun Run. I literally went from couch to 10k. I worked hard, and I worked long. At least three days a week had dedicated training sessions in them. I road conditioned. I did hills. I was motivated. I was determined. I even had a mantra for when I was huffing up a hill. "Can, am, am", which is short for "I can do this, I am conditioned, I am an athlete." Geeky, but it gets me up those hills... lol.
So today? Kinda lost... I wonder if this is how a bride feels the day after her wedding? (I eloped, so wouldn't know) So I did the only thing I could think of. I signed up for another 10k run on May 25th.
I think I've created a monster. Stay tuned...

Amnesia Strikes Priest After Strip Club Odyssey
By Mike Albo - Adult Video News
RIVERSIDE, OH – According to police, the operation was just a random check of out-of-state license plates of cars that were parked at a strip club in a "high-crime" section of town – but when they ran the New York plate of Toyota Camry, they found that its owner, Craig S. Rhodenizer, was wanted for questioning by both the New York state police and the FBI. The cops were instructed to approach Rhodenizer to confirm his identity, since he'd been listed as a "missing person" some 36 hours earlier.
But upon being questioned by the Riverside police, Rhodenizer started crying and claimed that he couldn't remember anything that happened from the time the previous afternoon when he'd told his wife he was taking his computer over to the Best Buy in Amherst to get it fixed. The family had planned to leave for Florida on vacation the following morning.
Oh; did we mention that Rhodenizer is the pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lyndonville, N.Y.?
In contrast to Rhodenizer's "memory lapse," the dancers at the unnamed strip club where the cops found him remember the priest pretty well. They told investigating officers that the Rev. spent a couple of hours drinking, getting lapdances and making threatening comments to those around him. They also said he offered to take some of the dancers back to his motel room, where they conceivably would party with the bottle of Bacardi rum that the cops found in his car.
But for someone who claims that he couldn't remember the previous day-and-a-half, it may be significant that when the police asked him if he were indeed the missing preacher, Rhodenizer began crying immediately and asked if his wife and son were all right.
In any case, the cops took Rhodenizer to Grand View Medical Hospital in Dayton for tests. Apparently, all that now remains is for Rhodenizer to offer a tearful apology to his congregation, as have Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker and Ted Haggard similarly done before him.
