I don't know if it was the sincerity, the tough-love, or the unapologetic assertion of who he was that did it, but I just thought to myself, "wow, these guys rock!"

Seriously, there's so much crap out there with people telling everyone how they ought to be, and that they're not good enough, or that they're worthless because of things beyond their control, that you start to believe that there aren't any safe places left where people can be honest and actually get support and advice for real problems that society has decided aren't decent topics for polite conversation.

And it's ESPECIALLY easy to believe that there aren't any of those places with REAL MEN IN THEM. Because, come on, real men don't have problems. Only girly men do.

...which is why I'm so moved by it all. It's nice to see men behaving like people while still maintaining their identities as men, because it means that my identity as a woman doesn't have to be used as an insult anymore!

What other sexual stereotypes have you found to not be true?

Things that spring to my mind, include;
