Happy New Year!!
I just thought I'll share with you all on my quitting process.

I was going to quit smoking today as my New Year's resolution. But I decided to quit on 29 Dec when I finished my last pack of smokes.

Today's my third day and last night was a real hard exercise. To be out celebrating New Years Eve, drinking and resisting to smoke.

My cravings were really bad on the first day without smokes, very terrible yesterday and today, it's kinda manageable.

I thought I'll share this just for the fun of it and perhaps might help others who are in the process of quitting or wants to quit.

It does get easier.

From what I experienced for the last two days has been hell, so I don't think I will ever pick up another smoke again, as I don't want to go through all that again.

Now I've got to worry about weight gain. I am trying to swap my nicotine addition to a healthier addiction: exercise.

Thanks for reading. I'm just ranting away.
At the time I was hovering around 200, after dropping already about 20 lbs. Today I weigh 175. It's taken a long time, trips to the gym, no late night snacking but in 3 years I've gone from 220 to 175 and I feel great. I just wanted to share because some that responded to my initial post had commented to keep an update. I've also found that the more muscle you have the easier it is to maintain the weight. I'm sure everyone knows this already, but I just wanted to share what I've accomplished! When the scale finally read 175 (which was my initial goal) I was ecstatic. Now I want to work on possibly losing another 5 and weight training. I thought it was going to be much harder being over 30, but once the bad habits are gone, it really wasn't incredibly difficult, just a very slow process. Anyone that thinks they can't do it, just stay with it and give it time!

I’M NOT CRAZY

I’m not! I thought I was! I kept feeling a sensation as if my phone was vibrating even when I was not wearing my phone. When I was wearing my phone, I’d answer it. No one was on the line. The vibration feature was off. What the heck was going on?

Yesterday I read an article in the highly esteemed British Medical Journal entitled “Phantom vibration syndrome among medical staff: a cross sectional survey.” They studied 169 physicians and medical students who carry cell phones and pagers and found that 115 (61%) of them “reported having phantom vibrations. “ Thirty nine percent were able to stop the phantoms by “taking the device off vibrate mode, changing the location of the device, and using a different device.” Their conclusion was that “phantom vibrations were common among those who use electronic devices.”

The authors could not account for this phenomenon nor comment on the safety of these devices. I, for one, am just glad I’m not crazy! So if you are experiencing vibrations from your cell phone or pager when you are not receiving a call, you probably are not crazy. Just to be safe, answer the phone!
Really.

I have a friend whose little dick "turtles." That means that he is cut but the head pulls up inside the shaft skin so it is mostly covered and he kind of looks uncut.

Because of a nerve problem throughout his body, this skin covering his dick head drives him crazy. He can reach down and push the skin back, and the head swells up just a bit and stays exposed, but then it goes right back inside.

His penis is about 1-2" soft I would guess (I've seen it but not measured it, of course). Does anyone know anything he can do to keep the head exposed (looks like a button when it's that way) that will not be dangerous (like cut off blood circulation to the penis)?

Thanks, bros!

Bottoming out

Isn't there health risks to excessive use of the anus for intercourse on the receiver end? Checking around on the web, that could explain some of my characteristics (depression, not focusing, fatigue, small dick), but I still have lots of body hair, a deep voice and not losing any muscle mass. Has anyone here had this test done and what happened if you were low? I check my testicals at least once a month for cancer and I think I am fine there.

Take a look at this explanation of Health Reform from the Kaiser Foundation

Confused about how the new health reform law really works? This short, animated movie -- featuring the "YouToons" -- explains the problems with the current health care system, the changes that are happening now, and the big changes coming in 2014. This movie is presented by the non-partisan Kaiser Family Foundation.
