The United State's stance against piracy is the reason why, despite our failing educational systems, we are still the world's leading innovator in technology & medicine. Because we reward those who invent, create, and develop, by protecting their products.

HOWEVER, SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Ac) goes beyond protection of copyright, into the realm of censorship.

An even more important principle that makes the Unites States great is the freedom of speech, the freedom to criticize those who govern us, the freedom to force change through the masses. Without a truly free & uncensored medium with which we can distribute, share, and discuss information & ideas, we will only see & hear what THEY want us to see & hear, without a dissenting voice to keep mind-control in check.

Spread the word. Speak out against SOPA and PIPA.

Free free to copy the above. I promise I won't use the powers that PIPA and SOPA would grant to shut you down (that'd be too ironic).

For all you Navy men...Wog Day

There is a long standing Naval Tradition known as Shellback Initiation or wog day and it occurs when a Navy Ship crosses the equator. This initiation ceremony, also known as the Crossing the Line Ceremony is a long standing Naval Tradition and is one of the most threatened of the Navy’s Traditions.

Navy Shellback Initiation has always involved a lot of contriversy and lately, Navy shellback initiation is in danger of becoming extinct due to the political correctness of today’s Navy.

Shellbacks, are sailors who have crossed the equator. Pollywogs, are sailors who have not crossed the equator. Shellback Initiation is the ceremony which converts pollywogs to shellbacks. This ceremony is said to have dated back to the early days of the Royal Navy and was originally created to test a new sailor’s ability to withstand long, hard days at sea. Early shellback initiation ceremonies involved beating wogs with wooden planks, wet ropes, and in some cases, dragging sailors overboard. It is historic fact that some sailors died while participating in Shellback Initation.

During World War II, Shellback Initiation still involved some rather brutal methods of initiation. The “Devil’s Tongue”, a piece of electrified metal was often shoved into a pollywog’s side. Beating of wogs was still very common and remained common until the early 1980s when several beatings led to many injuries and at least one reported death.

Since then, the Navy has implemented regulations and strict practices which prohibit physical attacks on wogs.
I went through this ceremony in 1983 as a pollywog
and in 1985 and 1986 as a shellback
A Moving Art original short. This six minute inspirational video was well responded at TED conferences and filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg motivates those around him as happiness is revealed. Music is by Gary Malkin and narration is from Brother David Steindl-Rast.
I'm not posting this article as saying "Be happy with what you got because life could be worse." I just want to share and consider this article with others here since we often discuss how genitalia affects our mindsets.

Precum

Just wondering about something that I have heard in a couple of places. You're about to see a video shot on location at the LG Optimus Hyper Facade in Berlin. It captures an absolutely amazing 3-D presentation that was superimposed live on the face of a building in Berlin, Germany.

Though it was a promotional event for a soon to be released Android smartphone by LG, it's totally worth spending the 7-1/2 minutes it takes to see it through.

I strongly suggest that you click the Full Screen widget to see it larger.
The trailer alone has a couple of small penis jokes. I can't imagine an entire movie of this material to be entertaining. The whole premise just sounds dumb.
Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 0%... can't get much lower than that!
