clint6 Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 Hey guys. Anyone taking daily Cialis 5 mg.? I have a few questions about side effects. I took it for a week with great results but had mild headaches and some leg pain, especially why lying down. The doctor said those would go away eventually. But I stopped taking it for now. I plan on starting again. Just want to understand the side effects better. But as I say, it absolutely works!! Grizz10231 1 Quote
dtw1942 Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) I have been taking 10 mg of Tadalafil sourced in India for over a year. Probably not as pure as brand name Cialis - I believe it is about 70% of true Cialis. I suffer from fairly severe ED as a result of diabetes. Consequently, it only generates a 40% semi which I need to add a tight constriction band in order to bring it up to a full 90% erection. Occasionally, I take 20 mg when I anticipate sex. In any case, the Tadalafil/Cialis results in no negative side effects. Edited June 3, 2015 by Guest Grizz10231 1 Quote
LordRhal Posted June 20, 2015 Report Posted June 20, 2015 I'm on Sildenafil 20mg times 4 a day. I've had no negative issues. I've been on the med for a year and a half. I use it for an autoimmune disease. Hope this helps. Grizz10231 1 Quote
Newdawg770 Posted January 29, 2016 Report Posted January 29, 2016 I've been on Cialis Daily 5mg for some time now. I haven't really noticed any side effects. Grizz10231 1 Quote
bearish48 Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I take daily Cialis: the key is to take it on an empty stomach. Re: side effects -- I'm not sure if Cialis is the cause, but I do get mild headaches. Since I have chronic pain issues anyways, I'm not sure if thew Cialis increases my pain. Grizz10231 1 Quote
Red Scott Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Cialis dilates blood vessels and thus is very effective at helping men gain an erection. Sadly, as with all drugs, it has side effects. Three very common ones are: headaches, heartburn and muscle pain. The first and third of those should settle down over time, but heartburn (if you get this side effect) is unlikely to. Give it a second chance and stick to it for a few months as it is a mild headache for you and I presume the leg pain is also not too bad?. As your body gets used to the drug these side affects will subside. Grizz10231 1 Quote
Gezr69 Posted February 5, 2016 Report Posted February 5, 2016 10mg works Ok here, no ED, but use it before play nights with friends. Works best if I take it about 4 to 6 hours before he have play time. Builds better concentration in the blood that way it seems. It's got an 18 hour half life, so still have it present the next day. Usually stack it with about 30mg of Viagra about 1/2 an hour before we play. Not too much side effects, sometimes slight dull headache & often a slightly congested nose. Grizz10231 1 Quote

Gezr69 Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Sounds like my kinda play time! Nothing like a little something to heighten a sexual experience! Yeah, Did a fair bit of research on both. Cialis definitely takes a while to build up & it's good for sustaining & lasts ages. Doesn't get you rock hard like Viagra though. Just seems to create a longer lasting quicker recovering one. Viagra seems to be more effective in making you a lot harder than normal. Also Viagra seems to keep you a bit more filled out next day when it's flaccid. Grizz10231 1 Quote

Interestingly Viagra also seems to vastly reduce shrinkage in the flaccid penis. Grizz10231 1 Quote
SmallNeedzSmall Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 I was prescribed 5 mg a day a couple months ago for a mild case of Peyronie’s, not ED. Since I don’t really have a problem getting an erection when I need to, I thought my urologist suggested the drug because I complained that with the Peyronie’s my erections were now smaller. I wondered if he thought that with the cialis I would get back to having slightly bigger erections again. However he said it was to increase blood flow to my penis with the hope of keeping more scar tissue from forming. I haven’t noticed any real side effects and my urologist said that it has been around for about 30 years or so and so no long term effects have been discovered thus far. I told him I wasn’t crazy about taking a medication every day since I have never taken anything else except an antibiotic when absolutely necessary. Since I feel the effects of Cialis for a full 2 days, getting erections nearly as often as a teenager, I asked about switching to every 2 days and he thought that was a reasonable approach and I do feel better about taking less medication. toadfish327, Foursquared, 6INCHES66 and 1 other 4 Quote
Appreciater Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) .... It was mentioned above that Cialis last 18 hours. Cialis effects last up to 36 hours and some stays in your system 3 to 4 days. Daily (every 24 hours) Cialis keeps a solid supply in your system. Appreciater Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 ...@NickfromUK Lol.... My daily dose for BPH definitely does make for a lot of erection wake up calls during the night, though I take it each morning. ... Repositioning usually helps him calm down. 😄 Grizz10231 1 Quote

old n hard Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 @Appreciater Did you ever take anything else for BPH? Alfuzosin isn't working as well as it used to. Lord knows I don't need any help to get hard. He thinks he's still a teenager. Grizz10231, 6INCHES66 and Tsoren 3 Quote
Appreciater Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 @old n hard .... The other meds have too many bad side effects that I want no part of. 👍 Grizz10231 1 Quote
old n hard Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 @Appreciater Do you take blood pressure meds? After I asked the question, I read Cialis is contraindicated if you take BP meds. Said it can lower BP. 6INCHES66 and Grizz10231 2 Quote
Appreciater Posted November 16, 2024 Report Posted November 16, 2024 @old n hard ... Yes, I take Metoprolol. This with Cialis and L-Arginine keeps me between 100 to 120, which is where my cardiologist wants it. ... Occasionally dips to 90, occasionally goes to 130... But I'm usually 112 to 117. After my heart overhaul, I guess he wants me to not blow a gasket. 🤣 old n hard and Grizz10231 2 Quote

Jerry1 Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 Cialis lasts for about 60 hours for me and that's the generic form. I started taking Cialis about 4 years ago on occasion when I know I will have a lot of sex with a woman/women (e.g. new partner or weekend getaway) as it helps my cock achieve the fullest erection possible faster and cuts recovery time. I'm not aware of any bad side effects other than a little esophageal reflux if I take a second dose after 48 hours. I used Viagra a few times 4-5 years ago and although it worked and took effect quicker it only lasted 12-14 hours for me. Also, they both make my soft cock more full and the ladies like that look.
