Recommended Posts

Hi everyone --

We're a Vancouver-based TV production company and we're casting an uplifting documentary series about folks who have a SMALL PENIS. We want to hear from ALL gender identities about your experience living with a small penis or dating someone with a small penis. Has it been a challenge for you to date? Or has it been a wonderful experience? Is your penis a source of frustration? Or a source of pride?

We're producing an honest and authentic documentary and want to hear from ANYONE who wants to share their story.

If you're interested, please fill out our form and let's setup a zoom to chat: https://tinyurl.com/kn74m82t

I replied to them...First telling them to not say small but smaller. What the average really is and how porn 'glorifes" a larger penis.  Small is body shaming, no different than calling a 'heavier than average' person fat and they agreed.
They want to set up a skype meeting with me.

I'm not so finicky. I describe myself as small, sometimes even tiny. I don't see it as body shaming. What is, is.

"Smaller" is a comparative adjective; it shows a relationship between two things. By itself, though, it does not state what the comparison is to. Smaller than what? A large cock? An average cock? A bread box? The Washington Monument? Although not always clearly defined, small, average, and large are objective classifications. I know where I fit into that scheme, and it doesn't shame me one whit. Or two.

Comparative adjectives can work the opposite way. What if someone over at LPSG started saying they're larger? Than who? The guys here? Wouldn't that be body shaming? I consider myself as good-looking. A veritable 10 (on a scale of 5). But I never describe myself as better-looking, because that implies I'm saying I'm better-looking than someone else, who might consequently be offended. I just let it go that I'm good-looking; that doesn't say other guys aren't equally good-looking, or even better-looking.

Smaller, larger... than average for the item being discussed.  A Toyota Echo is a smaller car...., compared to other cars, not a locomotive or the Washington Monument or Christ the Redeemer. It's not a small car, that would be Messerschmidt or Smart2Four.

IF 5.5 average, is 5.4 small, then little at 5" and tiny at 4.5 and miniscule at 4"????  Where is the cutoff for "small"

Small in itself may not be body shaming, but it is used that way.   Even Seinfeld did an episode on it....shrinkage.

Medically there is a classification, micro penis, less than 3.5 I believe.  Otherwise it is average, normal, within the parameters......

Anyway SKYPE interview Wed 11 am PDT.

I was going to try that and was in touch with the guy . But the whole thing scared me a lot. I did not know if it was legal? I even told him my size and a few more very very embrassing things.I got so scared that i deleted my e mail with him. I was finally going to be brave but i thought he was going to hack my infromation. Far as going naked on skype i guess that is the way they know if a guy is really small cause you can show him.

I was considering submitting a form but then I read:

...I hereby waive any right of inspection...of the Footage...I understand the nature and content of the Program and acknowledge that by participating in this social experiment there may be surprise elements that are revealed throughout the course of filming. I hereby irrevocably remise, release, and forever discharge...all participants in the Program from all manner of actions, claims, and demands whatsoever which I ever had, now have or may have for or by reason of any cause, matter, or thing whatsoever existing at the present or any future time in relation to the Footage and Program (including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, with respect to defamation, the right to privacy or intentional infliction of emotional distress).

And also:

I irrevocably authorize BTD and/or its authorized agents to secure information about my experiences from any third parties,

And also, all the stuff about promising not to sue them.

This all reads like the typical media-machine, with no underlying respect for participants - it almost sounds like some kind of horrific gameshow more than an uplifting documentary. If they had explained more about why they anticipate suprise elements and why they need indemnifying against intentional infliction of emotional stress I might have felt they were being open and honest about their intentions... but they haven't they've just stuck that in the 'small print'.

I mean, you know - GOOD LUCK to those who have agreed on this...

The disclaimer is probably an industry standard.
So Rene and I had our SKYPE interview.  I turned it from a 20 minute interview into an hour.
BTW I recorded the entire interview (I asked and he said yes, then asked can he record it too)

Very pleasant fellow, preface every question with If I may ask you......

So at this point the documentary is still a concept.  He is information gathering.  Is there a need for this documentary, is there a social issues (small penis jokes are OK, fat jokes taboo).  They are looking to sell the concept to Corus Entertainment.....3 - 6 months of research.

Do the public need to be educated....what is an average size penis?
Does penis size affect your sex life, romance, dating and how?
What are the feelings of the person with a smaller penis?
Is a smaller penis only a bedroom concern or does it affect individuals in other aspects of their lives?
Looking for untold stories that need to be told?

They want to hear from people that have handled it and moved forward and from those still in anguish.
Yes he did say "I hope this isn't too forward or rude, but can I ask what is your penis size?
I said of course, I am not ashamed of my penis, it works and my partners love it. It's the whole package, not just the bulge."

Asked when I first felt I had a smaller penis....told him my highschool episode.

My usual blunt, direct, flippant personality was front and center.

He asked if I thought it was important to share stories.  I replied, "It's like my AA meetings, my story/journey may help someone that is trying to deal with their life, so yeah.
Maybe someone out there is thinking suicide because of  rejection or PERCEPTIONS on what makes a man (his penis size)  and a story they can relate to saves them?"

Asked about the "reveal" and about is size more important in the straight world or gay world.

I have his email, he has mine and if he has questions he will send them to me.

BTW he asked if there are other sites besides Measurection that support the "smaller" endowed guys.  We talk about terminology, he asked if small is derogatory and I said depends, on tone.  One guy on here says small and he is fine with it, others prefer smaller.

Will send him a graph from The Journal of Urology.

All in all, I emphasized that this needs to be told....the public needs to be educated especially in light of all the available porn with nothing but larger than average guys.

Rene after talking said, WOW I need to do a lot more research, you've raised topics and concerns I never even thought about.

Maybe RodEnuf needs to do a poll
Concerns of having a smaller penis. (One of Rene's questions was #1 concern, issue, problem....

Options to include ???
Confidence in bed
Confidence
Self-esteem
Embarrassment
Rejection
Shame
No dating
Effects relationship
Body shaming by others.

Ideas?????

  • 2 weeks later...

I went ahead and had the interview. The guy was very decent but i feel that i did not open up enough with him. This was some thing new to me and i did reply to his questions. I had the fear of saying to much and being disrespectal to him. I think it gave me a little boost trying to talk to another man which is what i need.

Who would have thought that one day you would openly discuss your penis size and issues with a total stranger......GROWTH to the nth degree.
