Hmm... old topic.  Never saw the poll, itself.  But, for me it's approximately 1.5 soft and a bit less that 5.5 hard, so a 3.5 to 4 inch gain, I'd guestimate.

How big are you when you start out?  We only know how big you are after you get hard so we have no idea if you grow the total 5.5" from ground zero of you are shower and start at 5 or 5.5 and just get hard.

I am a grower. My penis soft is small. I measured now. It started form 1.5 inches but sometimes it starts from 2 inches.
